Heres the results of months of studying how to shoot the stuff. For the most part, I am happy, but there are some issues that I have. Some of them came out really grainy, the film wasnt expired so I dont know why this happened. I also edited them in photoshop to get more of the infrared look that I am used to seeing. I dont know why it didnt come out perfect. I have one more roll that I will be using because it expires in like 3 months. Tell me what you think. Also I am posting this exact post on here, honda-tech photography section, and the photo forum because I have been using all of them to figure out how this stuff works. Anyway, I hope you enjoy and have comments. 👍

P.S. the tombstone is actually my grandpa's, you can see my reflection in it too. I think that is my best shot and I am hopefully going to make an 8x10 and give it to my grandma 👍

HIE is what exactly?

mind explaining a bit more about thesse HIE infrared cameras? im new to these photography things..

the only one camera i think i'd ever want would be a high speed camera (2000FPS)

HIE is Kodak's version of infrared film. I shot it on camera from around the 70's, a Pentax ME-Super. The infrared film reacts to infrared light instead of visible light, thats why the trees/grass came out looking white. If you google infrared film you can get more info on it, theres a lot out there. The only thing is, they are discontinuing the film now due to lack of interest.

Looking good man

If the film gets discontinued, you can still opt for an IR lens filter. Metering gets tricky since you have to take the filter off to see through the viewfinder, but you can still get similar shots off this way.
