I was just checking out how to bid for stuff quickly as I was trying to get something else and needed to practice my technique!! I already have one... I did have six, but I gave them away.. the good people at Sytner City in London were most accommodating... what you really want is the rare dealership version... but I've never seen one on eBay...

Is it my imagination or is the 555 written in the same font that Subaru use on their Imprezas? It's certainly different from the text on the 1662 one.

... in my collection. There's a few bits to collect - daan's got a BMW demo I never got my hands on. I want the Toyota demo. I need an NTSC/U/C GT1 and an NTSC/J GT4P (possibly also a GTC2002). The varying versions of GT4 are too expensive currently.

The Toyota demo is on eBay. I put a small bid on it. You can just look me up by bidders (bauknin is my eBay name, too) to find it.

I picked up my limited edition set last weekend, number 2xx. I’m appalled at how many errors the book contains. For an official publication it’s pathetic, but there’s no going back now!

amar, you have a GT2000 disc! Would you ever be able to post some screen captures or post a thread describing it. I only know as much as it’s basically a port of GT2 to the PS2 format and some graphical tweaks.

GT2000 is a demo-disc published for promotional purporses in 1999. for Tokyo Game Show. I got it form my coleague from magazine when he came back from Tokyo, as a very prescious gift at a time. Today, I find it as a very rare thing, no matter that many of discs has been made - still, very small amount ever got out of Japan.

GT2000 oferrs no more then only one time-trial race (150 sec. if I remeber correctly) around Seattle cicrcuit in Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI. Yo can only choose colour of the car and transimission type.

Graphicly wise, GT2000 looks like GT2 on stereoids, but it is miles away from graphical bliss of GT3. IT is basically a GT2 graphics engine with more poly's and some basic advanced lightning and shadownig. Still, disc offers a nice intro-sequence with GT2000 logo appearing on the end.

I'll make some photos of disc and case when I come home. as for grabs, I do not have a grabber, but I'll do something.

As it goes for BMW Virtual Demo, I really hope that one on eBay is without time-limit. All the discs that went into shops had a time limit - I was very lucky to get a disc one month before offical release and my copy has no time limit on any track whatsoever.

I have two limited edition boxes too ... 1512 and 1926, the latter is for sale, unused, mint condition. Got one as a present for help with organizing GT4 competition (few weeks ago) and another as a prize in a draw in a magazine (got it just today) . Lucky me .

The keychain and car sticker (and a cardboard envelope with the logo on it) were given away to people who preordered the game from GAME. You can get them on eBay for £1.99 (about $3.50) or less.
