My MazdaSpeed Miata

Exactly!

I'm not saying it's a bad car, it's just not what most people expect when they drive it. Takes some "motivation" to make it the car it should have been from the factory. 👍

Love this photo!

Really nice Miata, I'm not a Miata guy at all but this just looks good!

Well then.

The issue now is...200whp and a car loan...

or 180whp (via voodooII) and no loan (NA8) and the ability to make even more power later...

I would vote for the 180hp NA option. Cheaper buy-in and tons of knowledge, parts and know-how, even in this area (the second half is still true with the NB, but you know what I mean).

Sexy car. I hope to see it one day... How about you give me your used coilovers? :D

Very nice, I am looking to get a miata for pure performance use and this is pretty close to my ideal miata, 200hp/ton! Although I might go for a superchargered option.

Still loving your MSP Miata. Probably my favorite color of NB Miatas.

Oh and you should move this to the Member's Ride's section and keep us more updated about what you're doing with this car.

Thanks for the props. And I agree about it being moved to the correct forum. I have sent messages to a few moderators. No response yet.

I think you can do it yourself. Can't remember if it's a premium only feature though. In the Red Bar at the top of the page there should be a drop down titled "Thread Tools". Click that, select "Move Thread" and then you can select where to put it.

"Moved". Ha, awesome! Thanks for the heads up! 👍

Sad. Fall, then Winter.

Not sure if there will be anymore top down weather until next year.

Car will go into Winter-Mode soon. :indiff:

My MazdaSpeed Winter Edition.

For Chicago winters, I remove my summer wheels/tires and put back on my giant stock 17" MSM wheels and some ruberband thin Bizzaks tires.

This is the first year that I have had the car lowered for the snow. So far it has not been an issue since we have almost no accumulation so far.

The Blizzaks have worked great for me, going on my third winter. I never have any traction issues. The only thing I have to worry about now if is the snow gets over a few inches.

Anyhoo... Here is how my car looks as of now:

Hah, that looks awesome in the snow riding so low. I'd forgotten the stock MS rims were so big. It looks weird seeing a Miata on large wheels since so many modified ones tend to use 15"s, 16"s at the most.

Large but also heavy and fragile.

The wheels work surprisingly well, such a sweet car mate. 👍

Yeah, they are not the worst wheels... but I really am looking forward to spring and getting my aftermarket 15"s back on.

Looks better, rides better and handles MUCH better with the lighter smaller wheels.

Just took off the winter wheels. Got new tires. Yokohama S. Drives.

Also got a new 45-200 lens. First practice shot of my car using it:
