The car is in great shape, and has 150 000 km. It has been rust-proofed every two years, garage kept, and has never seen snow. Rust is very minimal which is great considering the car has lived in Canada its whole life. Everything is stock and I plan to leave it that way.

I have hopes of attending a few autocross events this summer, and am extremely excited to get her out on the road once the snow melts.

Nice. Looks very tidy indeed that one. Is that hard-top body colour too? Can't even remember the last time I saw a BRG one with a matching hardtop.

Find it a pity most MX-5s in the U.S. and Canada had passenger airbags though. Screws up the look of the entire dash.

It is indeed body color. To your possible discontent, I have to admit that I wont be using the hardtop very often if at all, once the summer comes around haha.

Nah, not discontented at all. I'd be more disappointed if you chose to keep the hard top on all year round!

Super clean. The engine bay is nice and tidy too, much cleaner than mine at that. I'm with you on waiting for summer to drive with the top down.

Wooooow. That is fresh man, if you Autox it, get coilovers and a roll bar, very essential. Enjoy the ride man.

I'm super jelly right now, I am currently saving up for an MX5.

Hey guys. I just received my Arai GP-6S in the mail. It was a fairly expensive helmet here in Canada but I've had my eye on them for years, ever since I started watching Best Motoring and saw all those guys wearing them. I conveniently decided to start competing in AutoX this year, when the Snell and FIA 2015 certified helmets came out, so over the years I intend to get my money's worth. I'll start out with AutoX but hopefully experience some other forms of racing down the road.

My MX-5 will be coming out soon after the spring rains clean the roads. My primary objectives for AutoX are to learn how to drive my car better, and to see how fast the MX-5 can be in stock form. I'm actually a bit suspicious of amateur tuners having better setups than the manufacturers engineers.

Been having fun with AutoX! I really need new tires though; these all-seasons are holding me back haha.

Is that a masking tape 7? You know you can get magnetic driver numbers, right? ;)

Looks like you're having loads of fun with that little beast. Enjoy!!

Love how clean your car is. Jealous of your helmet, I'm using a fairly heavy black open face helmet for my time attack stuff and would love to go to one like that, looks comfortable. About 1100 AUD though last time I looked. It's down the list a little bit unfortunately :(
