my own version of touring car championships :)

wait a minute, i did not tell you to use simulation tires. you should use Super Soft Tires.

pardon me about the car list, i have a few changes:

240SX Q's , NOT K's
Alfa 156 16V (the NA one)

I used both simulation (for suchayo) and super soft tires, and posted times for both.

And about the cars, oh well-I'm not going back and setting times all over again.

Thanks ty00123 :).
This is my time for 397hp Audi TT.
1:03.5 using simulation tire, I found this car a lot easier to drive by drifting. I make video of the hot lap too.
0:54.9 using super soft tire, I use grip setting and driving style.

The difference between drift setting and grip setting is mostly downforce, maximum rear fro grip setting and minimum rear for drift setting :D.

I live in Indonesia, South East Asia.

I live in the eastern United States, so it's usually the middle of the night here when you post. Anyway, I used my regular settings on the Beemer and it drifted like yours did on sim tires....wonder what would happen if I changed the settings?

And oh, by the way, =drifting24/7=, why don't you set a time? This is, after all, your thread. Beemer on sims, then TT on sims, and then both on Super Softs.

i wish i could, but my PS1 is broken :guilty: i really wish i could play GT2, i miss my garage, especially my drift roster ='( i miss my AE86 Trueno and Spoon Civic going sideways on Grindelwald.., ='(

Oh, that really has to suck...how'd you come up with all the bhp's for the cars in the first post then?

I see. I think all BMW's handle like that, I think it would be more difficult to make it grip. The Audi has understeer feel on both kind of tire, I want to make it oversteer. Since acceleration do not suffer to much when using simulation tire, I decide to drift it.

I don't really like to use the BMW's, so I wouldn't know. I just had one laying around in my garage, so I decided to use it.

Anyway, you up for another challenge? I noticed you're up 2 wins to my 1:grumpy:,so I need a chance to catch up.

i write them down, on a small notebook.., the cars' bhp, torque, weight, and other things.., i like to write down "data", especially on the cars i like, hehe :)

*sigh* i really miss my garage...,

Ok, how about an '82 Stingray vs. an S2000 at.....you can pick. Either way, I've got the s2k. Run times on sim and super soft tires.

Ok, Autumn Ring then.

Here is my time, 395hp Stingray '82:
Simulation tire : 1.30.089
Supersoft tire : 1.15.298

This car has a lot of oversteer, and like to spin too. I use grip driving for both kind of tire. I don't attempt to fix drift behavior though, just adding more understeer.

Edit:
I have faster time using oversteer setting on supersoft tire:
Supersoft : 1.13.5xx

For me.... my S2000 ran a 1:12.585 on Super Soft tires, and 1:27.055 on simulation tires. Car just felt more sluggish on the sims, but I pulled an awesome drift through the "360 turn", for lack of a better name.

I'll try a Stingray, too. The S2K is most likely a better car.

If I may, I have a suggestion for a new car in the league...the Mitsubishi Galant Super VR4.

Vital Specs: 469HP, 2853lbs, top speed somewhere around 200mph (with gears autoset 25) No laptimes in it just yet, apart from one at SSRoute5, 1.23.583 on SuperSoft tires recorded in the Turbo car cup race (I won by 3 seconds :D) What dya think?
Also, how about perhaps a Group B league, for cars just under or around the 300hp mark? I have a feeling Parnelli Bone might like this league as he enjoys slightly lesser powered but more nimble cars, and to start off I give you...the Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC 1991.
Vital specs: 302hp, 2497lbs. No laptimes in this thing either, but from my years of experiance driving it I can tell you its an absolute blast - drifts more than an FF should, smooth, wonderful to drive. I will post up some laptimes when I can.
BTW drift24/7, this is a fantastic idea, and I dont want to sound like Im stealing your idea, Im merely suggesting a few more cars for the series. I'll hopefully try out the S2000 and Supra in a few days time.

if you feel like it, add more cars to the list.., i forgot about some cars because i cant play GT2 right now (PS1 broken :()

hmm.., maybe that is a good idea! hey, we should have a Group A and Group B Class. for Group A, hp limit will be 450-350hp.., and for Group B, under 300hp.., (hmm, looks pretty familiar, like the Japan Super GT, right?? hehe)

thats OK.., if you want to suggest more cars. feel free, im giving you the floor.., :)
