Even though I've been a member for 4 years now, my activity dwindled quite a lot when I stopped racing online in GT6 over a year ago. Now that I went back to the game a few months ago and enjoyed it a whole lot more than early on (when it was still in the infamous unfinished stage), I could say I sort of "rediscovered" this forum and started participating in the discussion more often again.
This happens to me, too - if I take a break from video-gaming my activity at GTPlanet starts to dwindle.
The community in the Rumble Strip is exactly that, though - a community - (that includes YOU ) and if I stay away too long I start to miss them and have to return to check that they have not all got themselves into a huge uproar about something, and that things are running smoothly and everybody's holding hands and dancing around the maypole in the specified manner.
I don't hold too much with post counts. Some of the worst trolls I've met on the internet have post counts that would make them rich if every post was a penny.
On the other hand - quality posts make up for lack of quantity.
Thanks for all the contributions over the years, Carbs - I've enjoyed them, and even had my say in the discussions you've initiated.
Harry.
