Awesome mate! I know someone who has Nova and it's so awesome :D
I have a 1967 Mustang with a 351 :dopey:
Could you upload some more pisc please? 👍

whats the specs on the 406? still a hydraulic cam?

Yes its a mild street motor, 30 over 4 bolt block ( 1970), 202 valves . eagle crank and rods. all arp bolts . I took the 2 fours off for now. I am running an air gap and 750 holley on it. its my avatar pic. really simple build. Have a full manual valve body and 2800 stall converter. in this small car it seems like alot more than it really is..

Fast back or coupe? I like those old mustangs

Needs one of our blown alky 540cid motors... ;)

Nice ride, good call on scraping the dual Quadracraps. Holley 750cfm Street HP carb's are the way to go. 👍

Wow .... That what my coupe needs:drool:

LOL, yeah I'm droolin' every time we do something nasty. Can't afford it, nor do I have a chassis that can handle it. :(

That is really awesome, how many hp would this make?

1 to 1 on the blower makes 1600HP and 1375TQ. "Conventional" rolled over 24-degree DART heads. Billet Fabrications 2-piece oil pan w/ Titan billet oil pump. Gotta be checking those rods and bearings between rounds! 👍

O.m.g.!!
Price? :dopey:

Without all of the fluff and buff of polished this and chrome that, about $40,000.

We run DART Big M billet steel cap block, 55mm roller camshaft bearings, JESEL Pro-Series shaft rockers, Enderle gear drive, Enderle 110 pump, Enderle Big & Ugly Hat (just for the damn that's huge look), CROWER billet crank, BME aluminum rods, custom JE pistons, custom Total Seal ring pack (metric), and some other things I can't tell you. Hahahaha...

Was testy fitting tires today, Think im going to run these after radiusing the wheel wells ..
reartire.jpg

looking down the quarter panel. After radiusing and adding a little lip for clearance it will fit good
sideview.jpg

They look big because they were not bolted on. And car was up on jack stands , Rear lowered down with air shock fully extended .. Will look better with car lower and openings cut out

aaah, your car has a thread, nice. Those rears with Cragars are gonna look really street freaky once you radius the rear wheelweels. We need pics of the hacking!

Also, a pity you took off the dual carbs, I have always loved dual quads, I know they are impractical and all that, but man, the look of a lot of carbs is awesome.

I may put them back on later, But I have a 72 challenger to grudge race first.. Its my buddies car, hes a mopar guy and nothing is as good. but a stock 360 with 3 55 gears and an auto . I think I can handle that. If not my best friend has a 421 stroker that he said I could slap in for the purpose...lol

I was sitting and looking at the car and I think I may go anothr route on the wheels.. I am looking for a set of steel wheels 14x 9 or 10 for the rear.. And rum my rader front runners , I keep going to that setup in my head ,so I think im going to go that route. Will post a pic when I get it close

I hadn't read this. It should look pretty brutal. Keep us posted, at least mock them up!

Ok I have done a couple of small things this weekend already. I added 2" Balljoint spacers . I found an original set from 68 subtle but a good look for me..
novawithspacers.jpg
, And another
0423111441-00-1.jpg

Picked up a Mooneyes red metal flake steering wheel and put it on
0430111453-00.jpg
0430111452-01.jpg
, I also picked up a red metal flake shift ball to tie the look on the inside
0430111452-00.jpg
. I am getting excited as I ordered a T bolt hood scoop for it and ordered new rear tires. 26 " tall instead of the 28" on the indy profiles on the cragers . I cant decide on ladder bars and floaters or a set of cal trac style traction bars for the rear:idea: Will post more as it happens

Not a thing wrong with a properly tuned Quadrajet. I do admit I like me a good Holley though. The Q-Jets have their place though.

Nice Chevy II you have there. :dopey:

Its been awhile , But I have been cutting on it some. Heres an update.
I got my scoop out and made a template of the flange and shape of the scoop .
template.jpg

I then traced the inside diameter of it out on the hood
outline.jpg

I then cut the hole out
hole.jpg

Turned the hood ovet and cut the bracing to clear the flange area of the scoop
test.jpg

After some test fitting I used epxy body adhseive to hold it in place and retack the bracing in after I cut clearance for the air cleaner
hood3.jpg

I then stripped the hood to bare metal
barehood.jpg

Then I done the body work to blend it in the body line of the hood
bare1.jpg

After some finish work I put a good coat of etching primer on and test fit it on the car

Thank you very much. Looks alot easier than it was ..lol
I give alot credit to the guys and gals that do that stuff for a living

Well I know it's been awhile , But here's an update . I swapped rear springs out for a multi pack set from a mono leaf. Added competition engineering adjustable traction bars. Took the ball joint spacers out and swapped to taller springs and spring spacer. And getting ready to radius the rear wheel opening . And swapped to a set of slots.. love the look now :)
