Just today, I put my Eminem CD into my computer. And the computer was reading the CD, but im getting no sound from my speakers. The speakers are working. But Im thinking its my sound card. This happened on my old computer, but my speakers were not as good, so im thinking its my sound card. I don't know anything about my computer. Can someone help me out here.

There is an audio cable inside your computer that goes from your CD drive to your sound card - make sure it's there (:

:odd: I don't know anything what-so-ever about a computer. But i'll search through the cables from my speakers.

All the cables are connected. But ther is a Blue/Green/ and Pink thing. And I only have the Green plug in. Is there supposed to be a Pink and blue plug in?

I think. Try expiermenting with them. Like, if green works in your case, orange works for me.

Sometimes their are little icons to differ them also.

Start > Control Panel > Sound Audio Devices

Check to see if everything is correct there.

Green = Sound Out/ To Spekers
Blue = Line IN ( i think)
Pink/Red = Microphone
Black = Another Line IN

I know my XP is in Dutch but in essence it should be the same :

Dunno if that's what Viper Zero meant but just check it... It's an easy thing to fix : )

I did this last night. :lol: I'm glad my speakers are working.

My Computer > View system Information (for XP users) if you dont have XP go to Control Panel> system (I think) and tell us your processor speed, what kind, and how much RAM you have. That might help to give us more information..... maybe.
