My stance on the election

Ok, I've been running around trying unsuccessfully to dodge debates over the presidential election, so I figure that, to avoid being pulled into the arguement here and only give myself more grief. This statement was told to me by my sister, who got it from a friend of hers. I could not agree with it any more than I do right now:

After the election results are in, I promise to:
: Support the President, even if I didn't vote for him.
: Criticize the President, even if I did vote for him.
: Uphold standards of civilized discourse in blogs and in media while pushing both to be better.
: Unite as a nation, putting country over party, even as we work together to make America better.

Support should only come when it is deserved. Same goes for criticizm.
