My wife/girlfriend hates or loves my hobbies

Ex girlfriend (crazy) liked GT5/Cars, and going to races with me. Mostly because I was into it and she wanted me to like her more.

Ex-ex girlfriend (bitch) hated it. Hated watching races, hated video games, hated me spending money on my car when I "should just have a regular car and save my money to spend on better things". On what? F'king overpriced clothes? Bitch please. /rant

My girlfriend doesn't really mind my hobbies, she will tag along with me to car shows, go hiking, camping and is interested in photography. She'll even try to play video games with me and rather likes Left 4 Dead and Boarderlands. We also play all the Lego games too.

She tolerates the racecar though. She thinks I'm wasting money and that my buddies and I just sit around in drink rather than actually doing work, which is probably a fair observation. She's been more accepting of it though now that our girlfriends get together and go do whatever while we work on the car while drinking beer....or is it drinking beer while working on the car?

I always asked my ex what a "Normal" car was...

She simply refused to learn to drive a manual because it was "Too much thinking".

She hated my hobby of going out with mates and driving quickly on dirt roads. Probably more because of the safety aspect, but still.

She played GT5 with me and enjoyed it. She was fairly decent around the Nurburgring with the M3 GTR Race car. But that was it. Any change to that formula and she couldnt do it.

At the moment, my girlfriend doesn't mind me playing any video games. But that's because we don't live with eachother yet. I'm moving in with her in 2-3 months and i'm sure her opinions of that will change because she will see the amount of time I waste away on them.

The racing sims I can kind of justify (Keep my arms muscely ), same with the online shooters and RPGs. It's the flash games that really aren't going to go down well, pure time wasters.

I think it's fair to say my girlfriend doesn't mind that I'm into games and other geeky stuff (anime, comics...) She was going to buy me a G25 for Xmas last year but I inadvertently dissuaded her from doing so because I have no room whatsoever for a cockpit right now.

So instead she got me the PS Move Sharpshooter 'cause she knows I like guns. Oh and she also got me the "Senna" movie recently. Yes, I'm contemplating marriage actually.

I dunno. Maybe the occasional perverted joke, but even those she likes a lot of the time. I really can't think of anything right now.

my wife is supporting of most of my hobbies. Videogames and anime and all that, heck, she plays WoW more than I play any other game... it should be fair to say that I am supportive of her massive WoW playing lol.

Hot wheels, well, she doesn't like how any I have and how much dust they accumulate, and when I spend hundreds of dollars in the things... but of course when I sell the repeats and give her the money, she doesn't complain (:
