Nürburgring Sprint strange Track limits?

Hello,
trying actual Onine Time Trial in GT7 on Nürburgring Sprint and get penalties that seem strange to me. Here is one example:


I must be missing something or there is a bug or… Lots of my attempts on this circuit end with a red time for "something" i cannot avoid because do not know that is wrong. Can someone help?

Looks like the rule there is that you need to have at least one or two wheels in between the white lines. Your lap time goes red when the inner wheels are touching the line.

You're not missing something, the track limits are just weird on that corner. On some tracks you just need to find out the (sometimes arbitrary) track limits through trial and error

So I just had this happen to me and so I went frame by frame on the replay and this was the point the time invalidated

So basically touching the white line your right hand wheel will invalidate your lap on that corner. Of course on the point I got pinged there's tyre marks on the white lines so it's hard to judge so you may just have to leave a slight margin
It's quite the strict limit compared to the rest of the track

There is a ton of time in that corner. That's why the track limit is so tight and feels different from the rest. It'll make or break a lap...
