Man, I thought I had it... And this line made it worse.

It has to be a war movie. My boss here at work says Full Metal Jacket, I'm leaning towards Platoon. (haven't seen all of FMJ) :?: I think you got me though.

Give me one more if thats not it. ;)

I have conferred with someone else in the office. ;) It was Tom
Beringer: Platoon. Hope that's not cheating (if it's correct, if not you got me, among others, on this one) :P , but I wasn't sure. That was a good'un though.

I've got one for ya, from a comedy - early 90's.

You really love animals don't you?
If it gets cold enough.

Not Mrs. Doubtfire - "oh! it was a run by fruiting"
Man, I enjoy talking to you so much I forget that it is like 6 hours later over there. :teleport: :D

Here's another one from the same film.
Did you have any trouble getting in?
No... the guy with the rubber glove was suprisingly gentle

HINT:
guys usually love this film and their wives(read: mine) usually hate it. :P

you got it mate. I didn't think that one would pose much of a threat. :P

Not sure about this one though. :dunce: I need another one. I know I've seen that movie, just can't place that line. :odd:

Hey, I was checking back. Is this movie a horror flick? Like a Halloween or friday the 13th?
I don't know what it is from that line...

sorry i didn't get back sooner but i am having trouble with my isp...

horror, not sure it is classed as a horror, but it's no kids film!
heres another line...

A:These people are here to protect you. They are soldiers.
B:It won't make any difference.

What is happening man? No biggie, my isp sometimes really stinks at the house, so I'm usually online at work.

Man, this one is tough... I'm not sure??? Is this an action flick like Terminator or maybe RoboCop. Give me one more (maybe easier this time..), or another clue. :) If I can't get it I'll ask my boss here at work. He's like the 80's junkie on everything; music, movies, whatever (it's really kinda scary  )

1980's, huh???

it is an action sequel, some would say better than the original, one more line then i will give it away with the next...

I don't know what species is worse. You don't see them ****ing each other over for a god damn percentage!

oh this film has some excellent lines i could go on all night with these but here is my fave...

A: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?
B: no, have you...

it was Aliens, excellent film........IMO..

next film then....

We're not here to do the decent thing, we're here to follow ****ing orders!

only a few years old.

ALIENS... ARRRRGHH Man I had to sneak to see the first one, I think I was only 13 or 14. heck maybe 12 when it came out. Can't believe I didn't get that! :P That was good.

Sorry about your next one though, too easy. :D
Saving Private Ryan
I must say, an excellent film though.

Ok, next... this one you'll get pretty quick I bet. ;)

Merry Christmas... shi*ter was full.

Nope, here is another one. One of the best parts of this stupid movie. Not really one of my favorites, except for a few of the one-liners. :D
He's got a little Mississippi Leg-Hound in him. Once he starts, it's best just let him finish.

Hey I know you are Senna fan.. duh, huh. :D Anyway, I won an auction on eBay that was a set of 1992 Grid Formula1 trading cards. I got the whole wet for about ten bucks. There are quite a few Senna cards in there as well. They are pretty cool looking cards for 1992. I'm not big into cards or anything, but I always thought it would be cool to have some F1 cards. Here is the link for one of the auctions, just in case your interested..eBay auction

Man I'm with ya. I would love to have a helmet or something. It's just that I could afford the cards, ten bucks (or about 7 quid :P ) instead of a few thousand for a real momento.

Nope on the movie. Sorry, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Not really a fave of mine, but like I said, had some good one-liners.

A tip for ya though. I don't know how far you are from Rockingham, but if you can go to the CART oval race there, there is a couple that go all over the world selling racing memoribilia (spelling:?: ), and when I went to the CART race in Houston, Texas they had some cool pictures framed and un-framed. The unframed were around $200 - $400. Framed were ridiculous, and you can buy a frame anywhere. They also had the S t-shirt that he use to weat under his race suit.

Do you get to go to any races there? I would be in hog heaven over there, everthing is so close. Jump on the train and bam - your there. To go to the CART race in Houston, it's just over 8 hours by car, about 520 miles. And I've done that twice. woo hoo.

Well, it late over there, take it easy and mind your pints and quarters :D

Hey HJ,

Have you got to go to the Museum at Donington Park. We got to hit that last time we were over. Man that is a fans dream. There is like 5 different buildings with cars and racing heritage in them. But one whole building is dedicated to Mclaren. They have like 15 to 20 F1's in there. I about fainted. That was awesome, highly recommend if you get the chance to head up there, I know it would be a bit of a trip, just go on BTCC weekend or something. You know what they say...

Two birds with one stone

HI,
rockingham, no haven't been there. i live right on the south coast so all those decent tracks are a good few hours away, i am lucky enough to be only an hour away from Brands Hatch, which is a realy good track, used to be an F1 track in the 80's but they stopped going there because you are too close to the track. i am not realy into F1 now since senna, but i love seeing the world superbike championship, have you heard of Colin Edwards, Troy Corser and Carl Fogarty, we make our yearly trip to Brands and camp out, it is the best. the only other track in the UK i have been to is Silverstone for the F1's about 92, lousy circuit, you only see about 1 corner. that donnington museum sounds good, mclaren was senna's home i believe....

Hey HJ,
I'm just sittin' here slavin' (as if, huh)

I'm a big bike fan, Colin is from Conroe, Texas. I grew up in Spring, Texas about 5 miles from his house. Small world aint it. Anyway, I love all the two wheel stuff. I hear ya about F1, it's getting kinda boring. But man the bike guys are great. I have never been able to attend a bike race (not a big event), but want to in the future. I just got MotoGP 2 today. WooHoo :P Haven't played it yet as I'm at work. Looks good though, pretty much looks the same just updated seasons and stats.

Anyway, I'm saving my pennies for a RC51 (what Colin rides baby 😈 ) I think it is called a SR71 over there, I don't know why, it just is. I've never had a street bike. I used to race motocross when I was in high school, but my dad said I was going to have to get my own funding. All of a sudden it wasn't nearly as fun. ;)

Man, if you can plan a trip to see the world superbikes at Donington than I highly recommend it (man, I would cut something off  if I could see them there, or Brands for that matter), the museum is cool but you would want something else to do. It's not huge or anything, just has a boatload of F1's and "some" sportscars. They do have the only 4WD F1 ever built, built by Mclaren and only race one time, it escapes me who drove it. Cool car though. They have the Tyrrell six-wheeler, among others, I'm getting pumped just thinking about it. :D

man you are lucky  , rc51, i used to have a Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja :P a couple of years ago, had to sell her because we had a baby, can't wait till we can afford another bike....

Brands is the best for bikes, last year we got 122,000 fans there, i know that probably isn't much by US size's but for the UK that is like the biggest crowd for a sporting event!! do you know of Carl Fogarty, he was our main man till he retired as for Colin he is quite good, hehe...

you must tell me what moto gp2 is like when you play it, i am waiting for that over here..along with MGS2, why do we always have to wait?

ooohhh aaahhhhh. That's the baby!!! My buddy mark got his back in September, about a week before we came over to England. I told my wife, "you know that this trip is half my RC51"?
Of course my wife, keeping me with some perspective says, "you don't have a RC51, now do you"? Man, I love her but sometimes... she gets me good.

BTW 122,000 people anywhere is alot, know what I mean.

How long have you been married? How many chillins' do you have?

We have been married 12 years this past Jan. and have two boys: Spencer, 4.5 and Mason, 1.5. :P

I will definitely post something on MotoGP 2 tonight or in the morning for ya, just to tease your taste buds. And why do you have to wait, are kidding me?
Lets see, about 60 million or about 310 million. If you were selling something where would you want it to come out first. ;)

Besides, you get way cooler cars than we get; Lancer EVO VII, WRX P1's, Skylines, TVR's, Lister's, Galant VR-4, and many more can't think of off the top of my head.
'Course we get 76 different stinkin' SUV's

12 years eh? you didn't waste much time there! i have been married 5 years this year, with 1 daughter Molly 2.5...spencer,mason, cool names!

i suppose thats a good point on Moto Gp2, we are just a tiny little island...have you got/played MGS2?

and as for the cars you have a good point there, and we have twisty roads! :D

night night

Laters for now.
BTW, you only have one straight road, I think it begins with an M. :D

Got married young, didn't I? Oh well, I found her early. That's the way I look at it. I do have MGS 2, haven't played it much and I don't know why. I go in waves on the games. I'll play one or two for a week or two then play something else for a while. I just didn't get into it like I did the first one. I'll finish it eventually. :)

Good night and talk at ya later.
