Names of Corners

In the GT5 AMG challenges the corner names are shown on the screen. I'd like to see an option to show the names of corners or straights when driving through it.

I'd find it a useful way to learn the tracks or at least be able to refer to each corner (when they have been named) rather than "corner 18".

Another excellent idea along with being able to create an official type of banner and signs for the course name to appear trackside, across bridges, blimps and other places. Be nice if we could upload our course creator tracks to a central database as well with a unique name registry.

I always thought this was a good idea in the AMG Driving School in GT5. Having it as an option in GT6 would be really nice as it is superior to having to number the corners when discussing a layout.

Totally logical, don't know why they don't do this already.

It would be another little way of connecting gamers with motorsport even more. Nurburgring is still a challenge for me xD I know a lot of the translated names, but not in German.

And totally agree with GrandPrix as well, being able to name corners in the course creator would be sick.

I'd love to see this in GT6.

It should be available in any mode/race, but as a HUD option, so players can turn ON/OFF as they please.

This is a great idea! I know a dude that pretty much knows all the corner and straight names off the top of his head, hes a pure motorsport buff through and through.. but I don't know any I just say "oh yeah.. that corner after the 2nd chicane" or something LOL it is hard to describe a certain part of the track not knowing the name of it.

I could fix that in an instant just by putting a sausage curb around the corner or drop a concrete barrier in there:idea:💡...in which case I'd call it Don't Cut or Die Corner

Yes PD are known to force changes upon us when giving an option is just as easy (other than maybe an extra line or two of code).
