Share your preference to narrow or wide lanes when creating a course, or courses in general. While both are fine to me, I actually prefer narrow driving lines or 'threading the needle'. Sometime I find narrow tracks easier to learn since there's pretty much a limited amount of driving lines you can take.

On the other hand, wide tracks are good (especially when it comes to passing), but when it comes to learning the driving line I'm all over the place until I find the best way around.

It depends. If I'm making a replica, I'll zoom in with Google Earth and measure the actual width. Most of them seem to be around 10 meters. Otherwise I like medium to wide.

I prefer narrow tracks, because they works better for slower cars and for faster cars they provide a greater challenge.

A racetrack should be a little wider though, but for roads and hillclimbs I usually stick to 6 or 6.5 meters.
