NASCAR drivers to be in GT5?

Because the mechanicals and bodyshell of all the nascars are essentially the same, the only difference is the paintwork. In modelling terms this would be known as the "skin" of the car.

I am well aware that modern COT NASCARs are spec-racers. However I fail to see how that will magically ratchet up the car count on the actual track in the actual game. Does anyone actually have some background in game design or are we just tooting "facts" that we picked up from a retail background?

Well speaking as someone who actually HAS modelled and skinned cars for actual computer games in the past, you actually seem like an actual arrogant jerk. So I don't think I'll bother explaining just how far away from the actual point you actually are.

PS good advice on your previous post. I think I shall heed it from now on.

You are mean. How dare you question my right to make baseless claims on how similar car models will somehow increase the actual amount of cars participating in each race. Who needs actual facts when we are on the internet?

Sweet way to dodge the question.

There are alot of people that "hate" on nascar, oh yeah a left turn blah blah. I am excited about taking one of those 800 hp beasts on to tracks they've never seen or even the high speed ring, Not everyone will agree with this, but I personally am glad to see a big change in the GT series...and how come no one seems to be excited about the indianapolis track with at least two versions of it...

I'm excited to try out, but I don't think we're going to be able to take them on anything except for official or close to official tracks (Super Speedway). That's just what I'm speculating, but we'll have to wait and see.

I dont see why we could'nt, in the previous GT's we could use rally cars on normal tracks...but you never know.

Toyota only had a power advantage in the Nationwide and Truck series'.

Jeff Dunham is the best.

Actually they they did have a power advantage in Cup, just only one team was able to take advantage of it (Joe Gibbs) on a regular basis (superior chassis setup).

Why else would Ford, Dodge and GM spend millions to develop new blocks and cylinder heads.

RACECAR -

Did I say EVERYBODY? I get tired of putting a qualifier in internet post.

I stand by my statement and the HANDFUL of people that drive in both GT and EA's NASCAR series might do better than the average buyer of the game that plays Rock Band and Flatout and call GT a "hard game".

Like I said, it will be fun otherwise even if the cars are clumsy looking/driving and the COT has ALOT OF BODY ROLL!
