thats all in the top 100

Its funny how the shape of ovals is bashed all the time, but thats exactly the thing that makes the racing unique and exciting

Thats even more to my point.

I believe the $15 million was how much he won from races and other things, I wasn't even talking about his actual salary. With that included, he makes more money than alot of football players probably do.

My point is that, it's pretty sad when people judge a sport just because they race on oval tracks. The oval concept is what makes NASCAR unique from pretty much anything else. And it's obviously not too stupid or else 200,000 people wouldn't go to each race, and the drivers wouldn't get so much money.

And it definitely isn't easy to just drive around the oval all day at those speeds. Otherwise, I can think of a lot of people who would be happy to drive around the "stupid oval tracks" for days if it meant even a tenth of the money that some of these drivers receive.

Gran Turismo 5 could have benefitted on the NASCAR side by featuring a short ovals. There are long ovals and road courses. However, I would have loved to see mile-long and short tracks in GT5 for the NASCAR action. Anyone who loves oval racing knows the insanity of short ovals. Great candidates would be Richmond, Bristol, Martinsville, and a recent short oval I love- Iowa Speedway. People may or may not like NASCAR. However, you HAVE to admit that NASCAR in GT5 needs short ovals. Should GT6 get an infusion of NASCAR, short ovals need to be among the other sort of tracks featured.

I am avoiding saying "short tracks" to describe short ovals. To me, Tsukuba and Adria International Raceway are short tracks to me.
