I'm maintaining as much of an unbiased opinion as I can, and I think the second lap shouldn't be disallowed based on those pics.

I've got to say, it is unbelievably close. There are three wheels not on the black stuff, but one on the white line, but the tyre is mostly on the kerb, so close....

On the second lap, you can clearly see both tires on the white line. Before the quali lap, Furi kept saying "2 wheels on tarmac". Only after Spurgy completed did I hear Furi for the first time mention "The black stuff". And I'm pretttttyyy sure the white line is made of tarmac

Hey Furi, just wondering if you had an idea on when we move from GT5 to GT6..... I'd hope we move after the holidays this year as I'm sure a few people might be getting it for Christmas.

However, more of the tyre is on the kurb. It is very close. Depends in your view really.

A good chance that most GT5 series will be stopped by then, but chances are that GT6 will be late November so if Furi has a running series (WSC most likely) he'd let it finish, and start on GT6 online gradually, before a huge launch after Christmas.

Although there is an announcement somewhere I believe.

Yeah, Spurgy's second is clean, although that front right might go on to the curbs, but in the picture anyway, the truck is in a legal position.

These photos were taken on lap 2, as there's no doubt lap 1 wasn't clean (confirmed by Spurgy himself):

Although one might consider this position (mid corner) too close to call, what nullified the laptime was the corner entry...

Both these photos were taken at the same time and as you can see the truck has three wheels off track (one on the kerb and two on the grass)

This is my opinion, based on what I saw on the replay...

Off-topic, Max beat us all with only 700hp... :scared:

Heh , my mistake. At 750 bhp the powerband is a bit better for corner exits and I could do 3x 36.9 right out of pits and a 36.8 on lap 5 , I think.

Everything can happen....(lol).

Edit: Checked the replay and i had mechanical problem...

Only 1 if spurgy's wheels were on track so the lap shouldn't count in my opinion and the kerb is not part of the track
