Had some fun for a while racing with a bunch of you guys finally think i have figured out racing on sports tires better im actually winning some races. Had some good races today, but once the room starts hitting 8+ people the racing gets crazy and a little over the edge.

Smaller rooms with less lag always equal a better experience.

I really wanted to get on tonight but I'm on short time. We've got thunderstorms and it's getting dark soon which means fire works. My son is super sensitive to sound, so if the storms go away and he falls asleep soon I may be good. Otherwise Thursday night may be my last chance to race with you guys before you leave for the finals.

I hope to see you dudes soon!

Large rooms + street courses = :crazy::ouch::banghead::mad::scared:

If you guys haven't added the special PSN account please do so, still have a few guys left then every one can easily start using the one lounge to make it easy for every one to find each other.

waiting on that pm to be resent so i can send friend request, sorry eddie, i was dee dee dee when i was making room in my inbox.

My brake pedal is sticking again! Damn DFGT. I've cleaned it out twice already and pulled the spring back to create more push against the pot and it still doesn't seem to be helping. Any other suggestions for those who might know?

Sorry for the off topic rant, but I was hoping to get on and drive tonight. :grumpy:

happens to me alot, i found i get dog hair in them alot where those metal sensors are, i either vacumn it out or blow out what i can and usually works like new again, i don't take it apart either.

Thanks Dragon, I've had it apart twice in the past week and made it clean as a whistle in there....still no good.

Maybe this is my calling to bolt the Thrustmaster on and get back to iRacing. 💡

Seriously though, I want to get this figured out. I'll go to the tech area and keep this place clean. Enjoy the track time tonight guys! 👍

Apparently, my connection has gone putrid, and no matter what I do, it's staying that way. :banghead:

I'll stay out of everyone's way until I find a solution. Of course, I've only been searching ever since GT5 came out. :grumpy:

I'm pretty convinced it's something wrong with your PS3 itself, didn't you switch it at one point way back?

The PS3's been the only constant. Everything else from providers on down I've changed ever since I've gotten the game.

Don't think I'll be able to race again, tbh.

you will need to rotate the potentiometer back and maybe zip tie it in that position. that should fix it.

I would rather leave earlier lol. This way i get there earlier and can rest more have a 3 hr difference in time zones to try and adjust fast lol.

It's actually not that bad. Flying west is the easy part. It's coming back where the jet lag hurts. When you go west you get tired earlier and wake up earlier. It makes it hard to "stay up too late for a day shift". And the flight is "shorter" since you get 3 hours in the air for free, where coming back you can leave in the morning and land in the evening and it's very disorienting.

Yeah I especially requested to get there as early as I can so I can check out the Racer X challenge.

I'm arriving around 10am so I should be able to get to the Hard Rock before noon :D

:yuck: won't arrive in san diego till around 230 it looks like. Like to see all the nervous faces before I'm the one in the seat holding em back haha.

Try this: http://merc460racing.com/GT/repairing_logitech_driving_force.htm

I did the same thing you did with "pushing the springs back for more resistance" and it still gave me the sticky brake pedal.

Found the above site and it gave me instructions on fixing the "pentameter", which was the real problem, and it worked!

You just need a screwdriver and needle nose pliers, it has something to do with some loose connections on the pentameters (fix both brake & gas pedal, just to be safe).

It's a b**ch pulling the connections apart, but well worth it in the end. :dopey:

BTW @AND_ROME Thank's for the 370z! 👍
