Might be a silly question, but does anyone know of a way to watch the NBA Finals for free or very cheaply? Don't have television at my new place yet.:indiff:
If you have cable or know someone that has cable, watchespn.com

So my power was out most of the night and I spent the time getting to know one of my neighbors, what did I miss with Game One?

Sounds like we're all missing the games! We've been having computer issues so NBA League Pass is not streaming well, it becomes unwatchable. Sad to see Kyrie do his knee again. Lebron is a weapon, at one point late in the 4th he had the same number of points as Curry/Thompson combined, on the same number of shots but a higher FG%. Whether he experiences the same level of Finals success as others that preceded him, he is one of the all-time greatest.

Kyrie Irving is done. His injury will put him on the shelf for about 3-4 months. So this effectively means he'll miss the rest of the playoffs. Many are saying this GS-CLE series is over with Irving out. Cleveland is 0-5 all-time in the NBA Finals. They were swept by the San Antonio Spurs back in 2007 or so.

Game 2 of the NBA Finals is this Sunday in Oakland. GS leads 1-0.

Such a sad way to end Irving's first playoffs appearance. Wishing him a healthy next season.

We all can use some playoff basketball in our lives. So get ready for Game 2 of the NBA Finals tonight! Golden State leads the series 1-0 and try to go for 2-0. That is... unless LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers have something to say about it. Cavs at Warriors tonight in Oakland, California.

Good luck to both Cleveland and Golden State tonight. By the way, Kyrie Irving had successful surgery recently. Great that he's on the mend and hopes to be ready to go next season or in some other kind of basketball before the next NBA season starts.

LeBron slapped across both arms 3 feet from a ref's eyes, & he waved it off. Green caused that jump ball issue & LeBron called for it. Glad the Cavs won so that ref can go home & pull the whistle out of his stomach. Terrible officiating there clearly showing favoritism.

And Golden State fans trying to shout MVP for Curry who did absolutely nothing. @Paulie's Delle was the game MVP.

My summation of that game as well, Lebron had quite a mega triple double though, irrespective of FG% in a game that produced low FG% for almost everyone.
That was the first time in NBA history the first two Finals games have gone to overtime apparently.
Good ol' Delly shut down the season MVP, ESPN said Curry didn't score once while being guarded by him, though I know that's a crock because I saw Curry cross him over and get a layup on one play. Big Bogut had a good 1st quarter then wasn't utilised for the rest of the game. When will coaches learn to not match small ball lineups and punish the other team by staying big and dominating the paint?

You could say the same thing about the Cavs they took out Mozegov (sp?) and forgot about him. Good win by the Cavs but how much longer can LeBron keep up his pace?

I'm rooting for the Warriors, but I agree with you guys. Officials are letting the defenders get really physical with LeBron James. Having said that, I've seen LeBron get away with murder before too, which is why I don't follow NBA like I used to(and don't forget Shaq!). Like kjb, I do wonder how James may fare rest of the way.

P.S. Shot in the stands with Dell Curry & his granddaughter was just too sweet. With Dell babysitting, Steph has no excuse!

I was going to mention Mozgov but didn't want to turn it in to a long rant, he was having an excellent game as well.

Welcome to Cleveland, Golden State! Game 3 of the NBA Finals is tonight as the Warriors will enjoy some Midwestern hospitality served up by the Cavaliers. Cleveland will be ready to rock 'n roll tonight with the series tied 1-1.

It was said that there were three calls admittedly blown during Game 2 (I did not see ANY of Game 2 at all) including a travel on LeBron James and two other fouls late in Overtime. Refs are human. We'll see if this crew can get it together calling Game 3.

Good luck to both Golden State and Cleveland.

They are sucking, but one thing I learned from the Game 3: You will not be issued a yellow card for sliding tackle.

Lebron James now has the most points through the first 3 Finals games in history. And what can I say about Dellavedova, such euphoria to see him doing so well and playing such a pivotal role.:dopey: I heard on a local radio today he's been playing through some kind of flu or something, apparently he's been vomiting and had to go to hospital after the game to get a drip inserted and get his fluid levels up. You could tell in the 2nd half he was SPENT! The kid deserves everything good that comes to him.
Still can't believe the Cavs are up 2-1 right now minus Love and Irving. Still a long way to go though.

I'm not sure if Cleveland will win the series but they are controlling it right now. I know that GS was down 2-1 to Memphis but they didn't have Lebron on their team. It seems like every loose ball a Cav is there. Also Draymond Green has been exposed. I would play David Lee in his place. Cleveland couldn't deal with him.

Apparently, Delle. told coach Blatt he refuses to placed on limited minutes, even though he was admitted to a hospital after the game for cramps. Giving it his all.

And the Cavs have lost Shumpert to a shoulder injury. If they win, LeBron James will cement himself as a top 10 player.

Can Golden State tie the series at 2-2 with Game 4 tonight, or will the Cavaliers be only one win away from their first-ever championship? Everybody up! It's go time and it's showtime in Cleveland tonight!

Damn you Kerr, taking Bogut out of the rotation.👎 That was pure coincidence you won the game without him, just look at the field day Mozgov had without Bogut in. If Lebron wasn't hurt and played to his regular standards, plus JR Smith having a terrible night (2-12), that could have been a vastly different story.
Either way, today's game was more what we expected this series to look like in the first place.

Cavs were tired. They had no legs left in the 4th and LeBron sitting at the start of the 4th is where golden state went for the throat.

Cavs get a 2 day rest which they'll need. If they can win the next game, I think they'll clinch it. Game 7 in Oracle would be nigh impossible.

Game 5 of the 2014-2015 NBA Finals is tonight at Golden State. The series is tied 2-2. Whomever wins this game in Oakland will really pressure the other to try to win to force a Game 7. Meanwhile, the winner of Game 5 will be only one win away from hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy and being declared the NBA Champions. Of course, not the "world" champions- that's for proper World Championships like in FIBA or in Olympic basketball.

Anyhow, good luck to Cleveland and Golden State tonight. We're going to see who'll gain that psychological advantage in the series.

"I'm the best player in the world," or so says one LeBron James.

Tuesday nights cam be boring, but the NBA is willing to help make it a little less boring with Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Larry O'Brien Trophy could be shown in Cleveland tonight... if the Warriors defeat the Cavaliers one last time. This will be the final game of the season at Quicken Loans Arena, but will it also be the final game of this season? Cleveland must win tonight for their championship hopes to last one more day. And if Cleveland wins with "the best player in the world," Game 7 will be in Oakland this Friday night.

Good luck to both Golden State and Cleveland. And if Golden State wins tonight, all congratulations to you on winning the championship.

Lebron is allergic to blue teams in the Finals.

Golden State rightfully won, though. They were far and away the best team in the league. Props to Lebron for keeping Cleveland in it. Only one more year before he can come back to Miami. :)

Congrats to the Warriors on their first title in 40 years.

And Iggy winning MVP makes NBA history.

First player to win it and not start any game in the regular season. Though his stats don't suggest he should win it, his insertion into the starting line up really changed it for the Warriors this series. Congrats to Iggy as well.

Is it the Finals MVP Award or Who Defended LeBron The Best Award?

I get the FMVP is supposed to go to the winning team, but Iggy? This guy was completely irrelevant until Game 5!

I personally would have voted Curry, but like I said his insertion in the starting line up changed the series. I guess stats this time didn't determine the winner.
