A million thanks to everyone for all the kind words, my wife said thanks too although I probably shouldn't have shown her the thread as now she knows I was having a drink while she was holding the baby in hospital
It's all looking good for them to come home tomorrow as they are both doing really well. Nathan has had his first bath today which he loved, I'm really looking forward to all the firsts that are yet to come.[/soppy] I'm probably tempting fate but he has been really easy to settle and is already sleeping about 4 hours between feeds, no doubt he's conserving his energy for some marathons screaming sessions when he gets home
Massive congrats mate!
He has really big feet... I'm guessing you made him this way so that he can do the pedals while you steer? After all, he is probably better at braking than you are...
He's a cute little chap though!
And you know what that means don't you? .....big socks
Very funny, unfortunately after spending time in the car with me most days he'll probably think it's normal to drive like that...I'll let you off though as you said he's cute
I really shouldn't have pissed on you, sorry.
Congrats fella, he's quite a big bubba, my oldest nephew was over 10lbs! Hope both Mrs Neal and Nathan have a good few days, then get home to annoy you and "The Boy".
Well we all lose control when we get excited although you really didn't need to stand on a chair for the height advantage
Over 10lbs really is very big, the poor mum! Nathan's the biggest in the room my wife's in and 12ozs bigger than his brother was so he's well on the way to matching his daddy's fighting weight...assuming he consumes the required quantities of beer and curry from the appropriate age
Congratulations Neal.... He look just like you!!...
Enjoy!!
spy.
Cheers mate, I think he's actually got more hair than me though
Congratulations Neal!
You could put him to sleep on top of a sixaxis so he babysits b-spec bob through those short enduros.
It's worth a go, I'll be taking one in tomorrow so he can learn how to hold it properly...who needs rattles!
I was thinking only a few day ago that this should be coming up soon.
Congrats to all and you're really not a parent until you've been peed and pooed on!
Fortunately it didn't come too soon and interrupt my Christmas dinner
He's not pooed on me yet but it really is only a matter of time, hopefully it won't be a violent one with the nappy off
Congratulations!
Remember, even though your wife disagreed, name him after me!
Didn't I say? His middle name is
Terronium
Congrats Neal
I assume she underwent an elective c-section? If so, was she 39 weeks gone?
Thanks
Yep, it was elective and she was 39 plus 4 days. It should have been Christmas day but due to bank holidays the earliest they could book was the 29th and they wouldn't go earlier as it could be risky for the baby. First time she was in labour for 4 days but even after being induced she still wasn't progressing so although there was no definite reason that this would happen again neither of us wanted to take the risk and it wouldn't have been fair on our son if it had.
Congratulations! Glad to read that everything went well and shortly both mum and baby will be home with you and your kid.
I'll be in your shoes around mid-May. Difference is that while we also already have a 6 year old boy, we've "ordered" the second one, but a bonus "gift ticket" granted us also a third one.
Congratulations once again!
Of course, twins
Twice the awesome 👍 I'm sure it's daunting but they're so gorgeous that two of them has to be a blessing. I hope mum and double bump are all doing well, the next 5 months will fly by.
Awesome news Neal, many congrats! So when will he be attending his first GT5 track day?
Thanks Phil. Judging by how I've brainwashed the first one into loving cars it shouldn't be too long
