Okay, I have a race at 550 PP, weight limit to 1400kg on Racing Hard Tires. On Laguna Seca...with North american Cars pre-1980!

I am going to run with the Dodge Charger Super Bee 426 HEMI '71 :)

COLOR="DarkOrange"]This is what I have on/in my car;[/COLOR]

Stage 2 weight reduction with Chassis Reinforcement.

Stage 3 engine with ECU

Sports Intake w/ Racing Air Filter

Sports Exhaust Manifold, Sports Catalytic Converter and Semi-Racing Exhaust

Supercharger

Customizable Transmission

Twin Plate Clutch, Semi-Racing Flywhee, Carbon Shaft, LSD

Fully Customizable Suspension

Racing Hard Tires

This is my "Tune";

Power Limiter set to 80.3% which gives me 640 hp @ 550 PP

Transmission set a 177 mph Top Speed, final gear set to 5.000
1st - 2.455
2nd - 1.609
3rd - 1.146
4th - 0.864
5th - 0.690

LSD is set as
6/38/17 (I still don't understand this...)

Suspension
Height: Front -25 Rear -12
Spring Rate: Front 6 Rear 5.3
Damp Ext: Front 5 Rear 5
Anti Roll Bars: Front 5 Rear 4

Camber (-)
Front 3.5 Rear 2.3

Brake Controller set to - Front 6 Rear 4

I am currently running 1'30" to 1"40" on Laguna Seca with tire wear on.

I am driving with a DFGT Wheel, would somebody be so kind as to check this out for me and let me know how I can get a little quicker??

Much appreciation for any help!!

I'm not able to send you a link, at the moment, but if you check Clueless Tunes "Burger" that might give you some help.

And try LSD setting around 12/18/10 if you use your set-up. :dopey:

Try removing some or all of these (Sports Intake w/ Racing Air Filter, Sports Exhaust Manifold, Sports Catalytic Converter and Semi-Racing Exhaust) and using a lot less power limiter. You should get a little more HP for the same PP. Also you might look at my "Hellfish" tune for the Cuda to give you an idea for setting up the transmission to take advantage of the engines power curve in your higher gears, just run a higher final gear as you won't need as much top end speed. The indicated top speed in the upper right of the screen for a transmission setup like that should be about 100mph higher than your actual top speed on the track. The extra long 5th gear means you are staying near peak power for the engine as you reach your top speed on track.

try to get to 550pp 'naturally' ie without/limiting using power limiter like the guy above said. you can likely do it just by removing the supercharger.

My Burger tune is like this. I do not agree with limiting an engine. More power not less :D

I had a look at your tune and it looks good.

The only thing I would do different is ditch the supercharger in favour of engine stage 3. In my opinion, in PP racing, a car with the same PP will typically be faster without a SC than with. SCs typically give you a lot of torque over a very wide powerband, a powerband which you may not be using in racing but you're still paying for in PP. That's just my opinion. I think if you'd try that, you'd make even more peak HP - it may not be a big deal at laguna but take it to Nordschleife and it will make a difference in lap times.

Now if you can't get to 550pp without a SC, then by all means install one.

I'm not sure I tried that during the build. I will try it when I get time. Thanks. 👍
