They have different front bumpers among other minor differences.

It does look like they have different bumpers from that video. The GT86 has 2 fog lights, FRS 1 fog light, BRZ has the upturned grille. So I don't understand what the initial complaint was about.

The performance is probably similar, i forgot if they have difference prices. If they do, then just pick the cheapest one and spend more on mods, easy.

I think that there are holes. 4 GT-R Nissans, 4 Mustangs, 4 911s, 2 Miatas, 4 M3/4 coupes and on. No Audi, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Plymouth, Renault, Pontiac, Vauxhal, Maserati, and on really surprise me. List is too random and at least you can customize these cars a lot. Hopefully we'll have more surprises like M235i which isn't in beta.

I am going to assume the 242, Mark 1 GTI, AE86 and MX-5 will be starter cars in the full game. I'm already having a hard time picking between the last two!

Saw some beta gameplay and the guy had 3 options for a starter: the Civic, the Foxbody and the BRZ. I might choose the Mustang if the same option apear in the full game.

I'm pretty sure we don't know every car yet. Some proof:
-lack of M235i
-there is C6 Corvette, while it's a cool car, it makes no sense not to include C7
-same with Lancer EVO IX
-some other odd holes like lack of M3 E36 while all other M3 and M4 are in the game
-lack of R33 Skyline
-lack of Audi and Aston Martin along with some others.
Just my thoughts.

I chose the BRZ and if my data resets after the beta I'll be going with it again. This time I'll be putting a Rocket Bunny kit on it instead of the Varis(?) kit I had on it in the beta. Currently I have upgraded from my R34 GT-R Z-Tune to a Liberty Walk R35 in red. Looks amazing. I also have an RX-7 on full drift setup which gets 70,000 in a 1.5Mi drift event which is just crazy. I also have a red Evo IX. Next on my list is going to be the Ferrari 458 Italia. I'll keep it looking stock but have full performance parts.

With the inclusion of the Ferrari 458, what instantly came to mind was that a Liberty Walk kit should be available. I can't imagine why EA would let the opportunity slip. It is not like it is a licensing issue since the Ferrari F40 can be fitted with Liberty Walk parts.

That's why I originally bought the car. Wanted the Veilside kit on the RX-7 from Tokyo Drift too...

This is possible. I heard that the BRZ doesn't have some parts seen in the Gamescom demo.

Just compare this list to Black box games. Besides Monaro/GTO it really felt diverse and interesting. Even The Run had a better list.

After driving the Corolla (a car I never saw the hype over at all) I want more little RWD Japanese cars like that! The MX-5 was great too.

The beta has changed me from my usual European supercars choice.

Most likely, final car list already presented in beta. Maybe 1-2 extra cars.

There won't be many extra cars. I predict the Evo VI and M235i will be added. Maybe a 2012 Charger as well considering they have it as a cop car.

Not saying the game handling isn't fun but cars like the Corolla or the MX-5 are better when being driven in a simulator rather than arcade game like this.

Well the 1974 930 had also the really first turbocharged 2.6 liters (260bhp) instead of the 2.3 liters(230bhp) of the rsr.
Moreover the Nakai San pick, which is mine too is the 1984 930 which the last air cooled turbo 3.2...which is 10 years younger car.

Does anybody remember the ride from "bad boys"?
