Considering Nexon's history of using microtransactions in their games, Edge may have more micro transactions than NFS World. Maybe it won't but I have never played a game by Nexon honestly.

Following with the release of a teaser trailer, today Nexon announced that its upcoming title Need for Speed Edge, the online version of Need for Speed series, will kick off its Closed Beta on November 26 and scheduled to launch next year in South Korea.

Developed by SPEARHEAD, formerly known as EA Korea, Need for Speed Edge will be a free-to-play title. According to the official description, Need for Speed Edge provides next-gen graphics and Physics that are optimized for online play thanks to Frostbite 3 engine.

Currently announced features include Car Trade, Car Tuning, Car Manufacturing, along with several gameplay modes such as Speed Battle, Item Battle, Time Attack, and Hot Pursuit.

This is just a Asian version of Rivals except with exclusive cars like the Zonda, Lancer Evo X, etc. Hopefully this one reaches in my country.

The chinese version is currently running in Closed Beta test, but it is easy to get a betakey and play the game from anywhere. There is no IP block. Also the game files have english translations for most of the menus, and there is a way to enable them so it's easy to understand the menus better. Here is video showing game in english:
