Pretty much this. They took the event crates just to make people spend even more money on gold in the "blackmarket" for the event, which is ridiculous. I'm not going to spend 200gold in 5x blueprints.

Im not sure there's anyone that would pay that much for 5 blueprints, and yes, i also have the 6 day bug in the event

They removed the Event only crates and now we have a Blackmarket style store. You have to pay golds for some parts and blueprints

I think the event isnt reachable without using much Gold.

I may have found a way to access chapter 3 without having to wait for the timer. Here's how:

Step 1: Go to Event garage and select ECU

Step 2: Choose The Thermosenser And In The Bottom You Will See Something Odd...

Step 3: Select The Last Event Annndd...

You suddenly have access to chapter 3

Keep in mind you have to beat chapter 2 first i believe and im not sure if its a bug or a glitch in the event itself, trust me; im smh as well

Yes I got this glitch as well. You can also access it by selecting valve from Nitro part. Just did 5 races in Chapter 3, they all give prizes as usual. Hopefully they don't patch this tonight (or worse ban people who exploited it).

To convert part colour (e.g. green to blue) you need a conversion kit (those briefcase looking thingy). So yes if you install all materials + conversion kit it will turn into next level.

Yeah i once bought 10 gold crates. Spent 900 gold and got like 6 of those crappy green street parts. I never spent any gold on crates again.

Buying crates is generally a bad idea unless you have exhausted every other option. It's worse if you have completed blueprints for some cars because they get replaced by Street parts (mostly green) in the lottery. I only spend gold on Blackmarket stuff (you know exactly what you're buying). Just open the free gold crates every 2 days is enough.

Also you need to save golds for the possibility of Hoonicorn Fiesta BPs after this event ended.

Not at this stage, there will probably be limited-time crates for some of those cars in the future.

I just did the stupidest thing ever I accidentally spent 250 golds buying a chrome paint. I got it in my head that it costs 12,000 VP somehow, when it actually costs 15,000. Then when the selection screen came up with the option to cover the deficit with gold I just clicked yes without thinking twice. Stupid stupid stupid stupid 🤬 Why do they have to make everything so expensive???

So now I'm down to 9 golds. Guess it's bye bye Fiesta

I can see where that comes from. You can grind for parts though, whereas the Challenger is a once off only so I think you made the right call there 👍

I hope i'm wrong but if the 7 star fiesta does become available as a package, i doubt it will only be 260 gold. Firemonkey will try to get us to pay $14.99 at least. That's what they did for the Razor Mustang. The package did include 250 gold but that was it.

Yeah.. Not getting it. $9.99 doesn't sound too bad but nah.. I got better uses for $10. Plus, i'm sure you'll get it with only three stars and then you'll have to spend the 290 gold PLUS any other gold for blueprints. Just like the Mustang.

Man, EA and Firemonkey will see a lot of profit from this mobile game. Probably even more than the actual console game. I can see how other VG companies can follow suit.
