Well, as of uploading the screenshot,i already fixed it by adding a .bin text in the game executable like "shift2u.bin.exe" the stupidiest fix that ever get to work

Ok, so i left this thing abandoned for a little bit, but I'm back! (more less) and i have some questions to all who follow this thread, sooo...
For now I'm closer to finish the base game and if you see the ip list in the first post, you can see actually a trend, and if you can't see it, or you're to lazy to check it (i don't blame you, its boring to check that), im going to say it:

Based on the cars the devs put in the game and taking a normalized test for all the cars, when i finish this is going to be a massive gap in the C and D class, that is very noticeable in the "SURVIVE" video i post a while ago.
When i finish the B class i hope that it was a more distributed list in the c class, but after the time pass i was proved wrong, and based on the test basically the half of the entire C class is actually B class (low B, but B class nonetheless), and obviously if this happens with the D class too, fortunately the D class is more less correct and when i "test" the Scion Tc i make an approximate ip of 200-250ish.

So whats my point? well to correct that im going to add some modded cars to fill that gap, and this time you're going to choose.
In a few days im going to put a poll to let you choose the cars you want that i add to the game. I going to say it, I'm only going to take in account sports cars and normal cars, basically some cars that are similar or worse the the lotus exige. This list is going to be the one you found in the nfs-game.com so you can see the modded cars, when i upload the poll is going to be open until i test the mini cooper and based on the distribution im going to choose the amount of cars im going to add.

Ok now here's the poll, or polls.
The rules are simple:
-There are 3 polls, 2 for the d class and one for the c class
-You can only vote once, but you can choose multiple cars
-I'm going to delete the links to the polls the day i post that i finished test the austin mini cooper, and im going to replace it with the images of the results
-I'm going to work on the car with the most votes to the one of least votes until i think there is a good amount of cars in the d and c class
-The modded cars are going to receive the best modification i can gave it, so some of the car may cant have aero models or damage models

I finished testing the 350Z and for now, i don't have the time or motivation to make reviews, so instead I'm going to upload a video of an slight modified version, and the works conversion, so...

Ok, even if is a bit late for some countries, Happy new year of all of you, i hope that i finish this hellish process in this year, only to check 200+ cars because of the mods (im only can think that fricking process while i hear in the background the song paint it black), but ayway, at least i make more progress on the patch, im going to upload the patch so far (in other words until the impreza).

From this point this patch is going to be incompatible with any other mod because of the gearbox, so if you want to test it, in vanilla, you're not going to have any problem, but if you have mods, if you install this mod, basically all the mods are going to have less than 100 kph (or 60 mph) of top speed, im going to upload a list with a conversion units if you want at least test it, but for now, again you can ask any questions, or suggest anything here

PS: I encourage again to vote for the cars you wan to see in the mod because of the ip issues

Ford Shelby mustang, Dodge challenger R/T and dodge charger R/T finished, only 4 more cars, and i can start to look the swap engines ...sigh.
Well at least my internet is more less stable by now, but my editor is not, but at least i can make this
 
Well, 2 more cars until I finish the C class, but for now im going to update the mod, the most notable update is slight changes in the campaign, and the cars.

For those who only follows this patch here, I am not ded (yet) for now th c class is finished (t leas without the engine swaps), and im focusing in some previous errors of the patch, and making things like this one
 
Thanks for the response. By the way, I keep crashing on the Modern C Invitational. Any idea why this is? Here are the mods I have installed.

Alright, soooo I keep crashing on the first Modern C event. I have no idea what's causing this. It works perfectly fine in the UCP Career mod, but the physics aren't as good there. Ryzen 5 2500U with Vega 8 and 8gb of RAM, less than 60% usage on all components. Mods below. Any ideas?

Hi again, for those who follow this patch only here, well, let me say that Im still working on the patch, for now is not as fancy as test cars, but to change some things in the files of the cars, im almost finish this but for now here is a video of how the new upgrade system is the best mistake i ever made
 
Ok finally after a few...months?, weeks?, i don't really know i can finally put a new part of this patch, now i can finally see the end of this disaster.
In this iteration i finished to adapt the basic upgrade system of all the cars, this include:

- The upgrades in general with a more consistent naming
- All the cars have some type of drag coefficient
- Make a new Tire system, more linear and with the possibilities of make variations of a same tire
- A new and more complete gearbox system being more linear and robotic, compared with the og one but with more options in the gears
- New inertia values so the cars are harder to flip, and having more natural reactions respecting the real life counterparts, as well to the reactivation of an antiflip aid for the lighter cars principally


Anyway, again the link of the patch is going to be in the initial post

Disclaimer: For now it isn't solved the PI system so there's a possibility that some cars are too broken in a race, for now the patch is purely for testing
 
I just downloaded the game on Steam. It's one of my favorites from the PS3 era. Looking forward to giving all your hard work a try.

I dont know why
I follow the instruction very carefully
But some cars can get in the track
And the other are not
Some cars have very bad gear performance

Yeah im still active, Im not uploading here because i make a lot of changes, so im more active on discord, about the mods, a lot are unfortunately incompatible because of the changes of the mod with respect of the og game.
Im very close to finish the patch, or at least the base of this one, so i am going to be able to focus more in the cars

Initially I was here to search for mods, but I'm too scared to break the game. For now, it's fine as it is. That said I am eternally grateful that there is at least one person willing to keep this flawed masterpiece of a game alive. Thank you from all of my hearts (yes, I have multiple). I may try some mods in the future after I actually beat the game.
The reason I stay is because of the car reviews. The op has the perfect combination of professionalism and humor. Honestly, it feels like watching Top Gear UK again. Thank you again for the laughs. Hoping you're doing well.
I'm a late fan of this game, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. Maybe after I finish it I can try help in some way. Meanwhile I will be here no matter what. Cheers from Romania.
