Sorry for members in group A.

I think I'm going to get in conflict with EA in a short time..

On the first race it was strange thet the game was very slow from the beginning and my car was jumping side to side sometimes.
We started the race 2 but after we restarted to wait for manny, EA thought there is no more chance for me to get in connect again...
Of course for that reason there won't be any video of Group A from me, Sorry guys.

I think it will be a problem forever with this game for me.

If there will be a rerace tomorrow, I will join it if EA thinks the same too of course..

God how much I wait for GT5!!!

Now i feel that every each cent was money I throwed away out of the window what i spend for this game. Specialy after i spent more 10 dollars for the DLC...
I dont know why did i think that they will repair the bugs in the game or the server.

I hope the others could enjoy and finish the races!
 
Group A was a disaster!

Did the Spa race get restarted? And was the 'ring race done? I got fed up of waiting so turned of the playstation.
 
Well what a shame :( i feel really bad for you. Because all three races in group B were without any problems. We didn't have all players. SteveO1965 and power5567 didn't answer my invite to friends so i didn't have them in my list.

I've steal video camera from my sister and i made three videos, but now i have to figure you how cut them into three parts, and then upload them to youtub.

Ohh and congratulations to all. Those where really close races.

Noticed a disconnection by Manny and Mohamu,all races went smooth for me, so can't relate to any problems you guys were having, very disapointing, put hours in practicing for these races, and really hope there is a re run.
 
I just recently (2 hours later), had my power restored. An auto accident nearby took out a power junction that feeds my street everything went out during race 2. (Lucky thing I suppose. I wasn't doing well... )

And I see that Group A went in the tank afterward? God what a day!:grumpy:

Maybe re run Group As race 2 and 3 tomorrow tomorrow with full points?
 
well group c was pritty good compared o group A we had a good few disconnections and freeze ups but we manged all 3 races and had fun to well i did addictions suffered to D/C quite a bit and same with sham.

And i am pleased to say my clutch held out :) and i managed a 6.24.--- on the ring.

No but you recieve the Iron Server award for most stable connection...:lol:


Yeah, I think we'd better try it again tomorrow or there's going to be a whole lot of 0's on the leaderboard. Normally, we run the make-up races at the same time on Sunday. I hope everyone who got D/C'ed today can show up. I'll host this time if that's acceptable to everyone.

Jeez, that's too bad arvore. Hell, you'd have been better off running the Pentathalon over on the SCC forum. :(

No matter how many good DLC's or patches they make for Shift, if they don't have better connection reliability what's the point? :indiff:

Nice time fast1! I'll post the results from the one race we were able to finish in just a little while.
 
sweet mate, the video of the zonda race looks good i got a foot cam in the corner of the video so you can see my clutch beg for mercy as i kick the 🤬 out of it :lol::lol:
 
I knew from the word go I was going to have problems tonight.
I already got thefast1 as my backup host as i was having a legal battle with PSN & EA. EA decided to leave my friends off my list.
I got signed out of PSN a couple of times and the others I got kicked from EA but I was still connected work that one out.

Race 1 I started pole and I know from my little practice I could pull late 1.09's to 1.10's which gave me a good chance. We set off and I think thefast1 was by my side (it must of been nobody sets off that fast) so I take a tight line as we're side by side then BANG thank you for buying the DLC EA thinks no more of you go wait for the next race.

Race 2 got DC on the grid then restated in last position followied coey for a few laps till I got past made a silly mistake then managed to pass him again. now I had to eat away the 7 seconds between me and sham finally caught him and gave him some pressure (which worked) then tryed to chase down thefast1 which was like p**s*ng in the wind. Beleave I got fastest lap in that race though.

Race 3 what a nightmare spent to much time on the ring in the mp4 this week I should of practised more did'nt deserve the position I got as I was a tail twiching mess.

Good night though will have to rerace the 1st race tomorrow.

On page 1, second post are the League rules... They explain it in detail. But to summarize... We restart when someone gets disconnected early in the race.


To those who got D/C'ed the Make-up races will be at 5:00pm (USA & Canada), 9pm (UK & Western Europe), 10 pm (Eastern Europe).

Here are the results from the one successful race from Group A

I was only following the rules. The only one person who didn't make it to lobby in time was Femki but he was in chat room so i had to restart the race and invite him as well. Then when we finally had all the players we started proper race. I am very sorry for that.

But videos I'm going to put on line somewhere in this week, because I've must learn how to convert and cut them into three parts.

I've got nothing to loose if I can't connect today because after race 1 i saw the participan's speed and i must say: i've got no chance this weekend in this group:)
Of course it's not all about winning for me but as i feel : I'm in an other 'class' :)

Yeah you do!!!! you loose time,patience,enjoyable moments racing with friends,going out with the lady Saturday nights...

Finishing last was my job at Nord in season 2 :) but during the next couple of month's I'm going to do my best to learn that track and my ultimate goal will to be around 6:15 where I can be competitive with some of the boyz like Manny, Nitro, Arvore & the Hog. I'm calling it project Darkos :lol:

:odd: I'm not dead yet! So you could at least wait until Grimm Reaper take the swing at my head. Then you could call project's with my name :) Now i had that weird feeling that a subway train will came through my living room in two days from now. :crazy:

Anyway have fun with Ring. Ill started with DBR9, squeezed absolutely everything and switch to Zonda R.

I don't know why but somehow i see this as really funny. Zonda R in league races on Nordschleife. Who came with that wild idea?? Any other car then Yes, well it's normal but Zonda R.

Post your videos in the shift archive.
I downloaded a video editor called video pad by NCH software its easy to use and also converts the videos into mp4 ect.

I need the do race 1 fast1
Thought sham got a good position in race 1 with me out surely they was only 4 of you left?

I need to re race race 2 & 3. I think the whole of group A will need to as well. I think Manny is going to host a lobby for group A though going by a previous comment.
 
Yeah i need to do race 2 and 3 again, DC in race 1 but was nearly finished on that one so i think i keep my points, (was in 3rd), and early on in race 2 my joypad had a mind of its own, and every now and then it would just pull to the right.... and it just messed up the race for me, so no finish in race 2 either. Then i thought i would do race 3 see if it sorted its self out, so we set out on lap 1 of the ring and everything fine, me in 1st and doing quite well then ....... POW ....... pulled me to the right, smashed the wall, and lost my lead. by the start of lap 2 i had to quit because there was no chance i could play with a dodgy pad.

So yeah my first races in the league and could not finish any but still was some fun.
So put me down for the make up races thanks
