NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND 3

images

At a guess everybody here would agree Need for Speed Underground 3 would be Amazing! At the time of NFS Underground 2, it was pretty much the best driving game out there and still today in my opinion and maybe millions of other people too, One of the best Need for Speed games yet!?
I might be right but anyways everybody has their thoughts and are EA scared they might wreak it? Lol
I have seen and read so many thoughts what the game should be like...

1- Obviously its a game based on the Streets
2- Should it have Police?
3- Should it have Typical Tuner Cars?
4- Should it have more Race/driving Modes?
5- Should it have a Free Roam Where you go to the race you want to attend/meet friends online etc..
6- Should it have a huge variety of Customization?

YesYesYesYesYess YESSS!

Put the number from what subject you want to talk about or n/a if its about something els and tell the world your thoughts and we will Discuss!!

(eg.) this is what I want to see..

1- I Enjoyed the feel of all the map seen in NFS series, especially Need for Speed Hop Pursuit, Carbon, Mostwanted and Underground 2... I also liked Midnight Club LA, GTA
2- Yes
3- Yes, Like the Nissan Silvia, S13, S15, 200SX, 370z, Toyota Supra Loads moree... Keeping them Retro 90's Cars, and Create them in HD, amazing graphics like Forza, GT5 would be amazing to see <3
4- Yes
5- Yes, Have an amazing sense of community, showing off cars and creations, different car styles like EURO, JDM, Drift, Drag, Rat etc.. Meet with friends and make new ones, go Drifting, racing.
6- Keep everything from Underground 2 but updated and add more stuff like better vinyl customisation so anything is pretty much possible so players can remake a Ken Block Gymkhana Subaru, D1 Drift Car etc...
Interior customisation, engine bay customisation.. its the detailed stuff that makes it fun... not always ridiculously wide body kits :P
Wheels, Exhausts, Intercoolers, Performance upgrades like Performance Induction-Kits that change the sound of the car... omg I want to help make this game!!

One of my biggest gripes about NFSU is how slow cars + mods would keep up with a faster car with mods.....

I'd love them to make an Underground 3. One thing I'd hate though is if it revolved around being chased by cops all the time, that gets boring quick.

One thing I liked about the open world was having to find all the shops in each area, nice little touch.

Yeah, it get annoying if your trying to do something...

n yh that made it fun, especially if it ment unlocking some more upgrades :D

They should definally make number 3 both 1 and 2 and even most wanted were great games but ever since carbon i just lost interest, going back to the underground roots would definally be a day one buy for me.

Knowing EA tho i reckon they will eventually bring back the underground series, if im not mistaken it was their best selling NFS games so i cant see EA not bringing the name back to the franchise, whether it will still be any good we'll have to wait and see.

Agreed, I was able to complete the first NFSU without having to change cars. (who knew a Civic could beat a R34 Skyline?)

Underground 2 is still one of the best NFS games in my opinion, I would love to see a 3rd.👍

Great to hear! Keep them coming guys :P 👍

Well, Since it's EA, it won't have that many good features. But, who knows.
I would love to see a 3rd, because the NFS is going downhill IMO.
I'm not wasting my money on "THE RUN"
I'm not being a fanboy, but you guys and anyone else alike need to get this misconception out of your head.

All the past NFS have been made by different Developers.... Electronic Arts publishes them, not make the game itself. So if you want to hate on anyone, hate the dev's... Black box in this case (or not, since you guys like Underground 3)..

Black Box has made most of the past NFS titles; Hot Pursuit 2, Underground (1 & 2), Most Wanted, Carbon, Pro Street, Undercover, World and The Run.
Slighty Mad Studios has done Shift (1 & 2).
EA Montreal did Nitro.
Criterion Games made Hot Pursuit 3.
EA Canada did every game earlier that Hot Pursuit 2.

Having to find all the parts shops, getting challenged by random racers off the street, getting especial parts off racers who thought you did a good job racing them...

NFS:U2 is one of the racing games I have enjoyed the most. It was a truly fun game, and a blast online. Good times.

If they ever decide to do a third one and if NFS:HP3 serves as precedent, it may be a good game.

I don't care who made it, they are getting worse and worse. The old ones were the best

Yo what was the NFS that you could customize like everything. Even the inside with tv's and stuff that was the best one ever. I remember you could have bummers, escalates, navigators all with huge rims and filled with tv's. Didn't help racing at all but the sweetness of it was all that mattered.

I believe that was the "DUB" edition

You could put TVs and speakers in the trunk on underground 2, but I don't recall that on any Midnight Clubs.

Am I not allowed to educate someone regarding something they didn't know?

Thats like saying codemasters doesnt develop just publishes... who develops is the studios in birmingham and the studios in Liverpool.

Only EA gave diferent names to its dev studios like criterion and black box ... they work exclusivly for EA like PD does for sony and they do what EA tells them to do... even SMS that does not work exclusivly for EA blamed EA for the lack of dev freedom and post release support...

You can educate what ever you want but please try to educate yourself correctly first before missleading other people

See, nobody here asked for you to explain to them who made what game or who published this. Some people just don't like or respect EA or the people who made there games.

I know they work exclusively for EA, but being different developers also means there are different people working. Having said that, that would also mean the games produced would be different, for instance, the driving mechanic in HP3 is drastically different from other NFS titles, and that's because that's Criterion's style of making their driving games (see Burnout titles).... funnily enough, lots of people disliked HP3 for that one reason.

I see your point and fair enough... I dont mind what the driving physics are like, just as long as they are similar if not better than the old NFS Underground titles...
Maybe (Hopefully?) a new developer (for a NFS title) will step forward?
Other than that I could maybe just say EA?

I agree, Underground 2 was the first NFS game I played and I think it's more fun than MW or Carbon (haven't played the others). It has the best customizations and the feel of the game is just good, make another one.

They really need to get around to making a Need for Speed: Underground 3 with a new story. Build off of the success the Underground games had, but keep the very exotic cars like the Bugatti Veyron out. Those aren't meant for customization.

Though who knows when it'll happen. The rumors of the game Black Box was making for 3 years being Underground 3 were false as soon as The Run was announced.
