Need Help ASAP - Banned from Auction House & Storefront

Ok so i put a 250 gto up for auction and put a buyout of 999,999,000 knowing noone would buy it for that price, but a modder bought it for that price sadly. so now can not accsess the auction house, storefront, rivals, any online mode. Have i been banned because a modder bought my 250 gto for 999,999,000 CR? how can this be resolved.
 
I must confess that I personally can only suggest that you contact the Xbox customer service department in you local country and talk to them about it.

I'm also going to move this to the FM4 forums and give it a better title, as the Forza Planet help thread (which is for help regarding Forza Planet) will not get you the most help.

why put a buyout if you don't want people actually buying out?

anyway your best luck is either talk to turn 10 or microsoft. if you are lucky you might just have to hand over most of your credits.
 
Why would you do such a thing in the first place? A lot of us around here are curious why people do that.
 
Bit sick of that modder to spend that $ to get someone banned.

Can you go through the official Forza4 site for stuff like this?
 
Its not fair that just because i put a 250 gto buyout for 999,999,000 and modder buys it for that, that i get banned for it...
 
Life is unfair and not perfect. You aren't the first person this happen to. Have you done any research on Google to see if anyone else resolved this? May help to seek this problem out via the world wide web.
 
Alright BryCivicSi I already know life lessons im just a little frustrated ok. What if this happend to you. how would you feel. Im not going to start an argument over this.
 
Not trying to start an argument. But the first I saw people doing this, i thought it was foolish so I wouldn't be caught doing it making your "what if" a mute point. Just saying cause you asked.

If you are seriously looking for help, also check some older threads here for any possible help. I think this happened to someone here a week after the game came out. If you can search gamertags here, it was makinweed or something along those lines.

I thought T10 were not banning people who received glitched credits from one off auctions and instead are just removing said credits from their profiles?

In order for the ban hammer to fall i thought the profile had to show a history of spending and accumulating glitched credits........could be wrong but that's the way i read it.
 
Yeah, i know there are several ways you can get banned but you seem to have been console banned.

Not suggesting you have done this but what the credit glitchers are doing is create a second profile which they glitch the credits on, they then sell a car in the auction house with their main profile for the max possible and use the second profile to buy the car so their clean profile then has all the credits.

The only way you can get banned for glitched credits is if this has happened or there has been some weird mistake by T10 so i'd post over there as phREDESIGN has been quite active recently.
 
It also seems easy enough to buy (with real cash) credits from a third party and avoid linking two accounts on one console. Which is maybe why both parties are getting banned when you read only the buyer used to get banned.
 
I just posted this on forzamotorsport.net/forums, so i will se if PhR does anything about it, my cousin works for microsoft and knows a person who worked on Fm2-Fm4, so i will mabe call him later, see what happens, it has been about 5 days since this first came up.
 
i have pmed phr seeing where this will go, i will sell forza 4 and format my hard drive. im going back to gt planet. SEE YA (mabe)

Ouch. Wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt but I didn't think a random stranger would just randomly buy a car for that much money. Guess it wasn't so random and innocent.

You obviously don't have to answer this but i'm just curious as to why you did it, was it just for the unicorns or simply because you could?

It's not as though it's hard to earn credits in this game and they're handing out unicorns left, right and centre at the moment
 
please respect me but idk why i was just really dumb, it wasnt for the unicorn cars because you need a flashed xbox to mod in unicorns, but i dont know why Bibblefish, now i feel very guilty. i dont know what to do. :(
 
I need some help, i wish gaming was simplier. no internet, and people really had fun, i wish gaming was like that. the good ol days you know.

it just proves a weekness in fm4 that they need to fix, gt5 is way more secure.
