your not sounding like an ass, just a meathead. people will probably come and call you on that claim. The reason why people look downon that view is because the miata is a quick, light, rwd, fun to drive car. The typical person that buys one and drives it on the street doesnt matter to most people. Image is image, bs.
I for one would probably not drive one on the street for the reason you specified though. Not that the cars are queer, but that many people who drive them are.

about the bimmer, **** i actually dont know what year the regular e30 3series cars started being produced. I would assume they were made for a couple years before the m3, not sure though. M3s first model year in the usa was 1988, europe had them in 87 though.
an 87 325is should be on the e30 chassis. that is what your looking for, isnt it?
