Need help with fixing DFP Pedals.

I seem to be having trouble getting the Gas and Brake pedals to work at all. At this point I opened the casing to see whats wrong and so far I can't figure this out. Do any of you know I can resolve this? I'd appreciate your help.

I'm gonna open mines and take a look, I need a hint on what's wrong, is it that you can't get full throttle / braking ? Is it that they don't return to zero when released ? You mentionned "at all" are they not working at all (ie nothing happens no matter what you do)? Anything else that might help .....
