Hi im Noremac and im rather new to Dragging and i need some transmission help on the Nissan SpecV '09 and or Black edition '12. can someone please help me? 💡
No. Tune something else. No one cares about the gtr. If you get the tree you win, what kind of race is that? Its not.

Correct me if im mistaken ptk, but at a certain point.... all races between similar tuners will come down to the tree. Thats what good 1/4 mile drag racing is. "what kind of a race is that" ... a good one? or would you rather destroy some noob by half a track every time? Man stop bashing on people that like to run a car that you dont care for. Its not there problem that you hate the gtr.... just paste a link or leave um alone. Im sick you polluting all these threads with the "🤬 the gtr" attitude.... alright.. we get it you dont like the car... move along. Sorry man... its just that every thread i see about the gtr nowadays, your the first person to comment, and its usually "🤬 the gtr, tune something else." Opinions are like @$$holes...
Ha, last time I checked, this is a forum and I can say whatever I want within the AUP. Thats your opinion fine but whether you like it or not, more people on here agree with my opinion than yours. Actually my advice is extremely helpful if they wish to be a good tuner. At this point, any GT-R is a waste of time and I would rather not have someone waste their time on something that is for not. I am actually giving that person about a month of experience because that person would be wasting their time on the r35 for that long for no reason. No fast tuners care about the r35 anymore, its done, over, overused, it doesn't prove anything, most to all people (fast tuners) agree that the r35 is an insta-kick in rooms, its a huge waste of time. Just like me typing all of this because its already known and no one cares.

Just ignore PTK, he's like a pop-up of a website, which appears everytime you write something about a GTR.Hi im Noremac and im rather new to Dragging and i need some transmission help on the Nissan SpecV '09 and or Black edition '12. can someone please help me? 💡

I just was tuning a Buick GNX
Well, in my opinion the GTR is a nice car.ok then. what other cars should i tune then?

But you must know that the a few Indy guys don't like it.
Since the most of them are americans (fact), muscle cars would be welcome I guess.
But as long as it's not a GTR, Veyron, X1 (I personally like the GTR and Bugatti ), then it should be ok.

F:censored: the gtr, tune something else.
You never know, this OP might one day beat you on a pinks race ptk and eight
You have some good points, but I must say that I will never lose a pinks race, because I don't race for pinks.

Summary of the GTR in 1/4:
Get the tree, get the win.
Let me re-phrase that then
You never know, this OP might one day beat you on a kicks race ptk and eight
My point still stands, there is no longer a reason to tune it. I am merely trying to save a lot someone's time from being wasted.
I've stopped driving it a long time ago...
I get flashbacks...........All I'm saying is that ALL of us were noobs at one point. Look at some of my earlier threads:
Online Drag - No TCS - No Wheelspin??
Dragging Tips?
If someone were to post these same threads now, they would receive a massive amount of "tune yourself" or "use the search button" responses. You never know, this OP might one day beat you on a pinks race ptk and eight
Just the other day I ran eight and BUSAROCKET in GT-Rs. We got even launches but they still beat me. The reason I said that was because with the GT-R, your reaction time is exacerbated to an extreme amount, unlike an ACR or Enzo where shift points are just about as important as the tree. Also, since auto works with the GT-R so well, it is a noobs car, but just like any other car, if top tuner with GT-R drags another top tuner with GT-R, I see nothing wrong with that...
I don't think you guys understand something. Let me try to explain. There are certain stages you go through when dragging:
Stage one: Discovering dragging
Stage two: Find the fastest cars
Stage three: Tune them to be even faster
Stage four: Max out your tunes so that whoever gets the tree gets the win
Stage five: Get bored of the usual fastest cars and tune other, sleeper cars.
The Pro tuners like you, eight and most of us, and SSR7 tuners, have gone through step 5. We know the fastest cars around and have them maxed out. But you have to remember, all of us asked or thought about asking this same question the OP did at some point. He is still at stage 2 or 3. He will find at some point the GT-R is a cheap car and will dislike it himself. As much as you say you hate the GT-R ptk, I know at one point, you enjoyed dragging it with your buds.

I dont like being called a noob. but i guess i am. you guys have been very helpful and i hope to see you in a lobby sometime

Your point may be valid or not but you could have been a bit more understanding and explain why you believe the GTR is not worth it. Alternatively you could have refrained from posting.
Keep in mind that written replies usually come over much harsher than intended. Just put yourself in his shoes and then look at your first response, would you really have appreciated such a harsh answer?
I get flashbacks...........
hehe, i remember back when gt5 came out. KRAVENRAW, Cstedwell and myself were the enigmas of the 1/4 at indy lol, that was even before knowing about this website. back in the day it was a lot of fun trying our best to up one each other with the GTRs. we were the first ones to come up with really fast GTRs for the 1/4. in some weird point of view i think its our fault that the gtr its the car to beat, the car to have, to tune to be fastest, just cause we beated so many gamers by far distances. im really sry ptk and all those that care less about the gtr. i guess we should've put so much emphasize on the gtr.
but there's a good thing that we moved on lol and that's why i started to tune other cars, the count goes to 300+ drag race tunes. they all almost use the same suspension but everyone is different, their lsd it's always the same. but their transmissions oh their are maze of possibilities. transmissions varies upon the application, PP's, power to weight ratios, the car type and the car story. so far ive discovered 4 transmissions type, the flip, the non flip, the hybrid and the reverse transmissions.
trust me when i say this, gt5 have provide us with a great variety of possibilities of anything you want to do with your car. if you are new then welcome to the gt5 family and happy tuning.
You learn well I see! 👍 (just kidding)hehe, i remember back when gt5 came out.
