Need Ideas.

Well, Thanks in advance GTP.

My group is doing a Social Studies project.. We have chosen to 'save' (pretty much donate to WWF and let them 'give' us a dolphin under our names) a dolphin. We're also helping the environment by doing a bottle drive. That way, we help the environment in two ways. One, we help save the Dolphins, and two, we clean up our natural environment and prevent our landfills being filled up so quickly. My question is, how to present it?

Right now, I have a powerpoint presentation going.

Slides include..
A title slide (duh)
a TOC (Table of Contents)
Who we are (the group)
Our Goals and Objectives
Our allotted timeframe
Where we're doing this
Why we chose to save Dolphins instead of other possible animals like tigers or inuit dogs
How we planned to raise money
Pictures of us doing work(in some slides)
Brief points and pictures of all our meetings

The presentation needs to be 20-30 minutes long.. Any ideas?

Nothing hogs up time like using tons of transitions and text effects :D Other than that if you can get some video thats a great filler too, even if its just dolphins swimming or something.

Yeah, no sounds, no transitions, no music. Just present the facts and talk about each one thoroughly.

It looks very unprofessional to load it up with ****ty sound effects. He's trying to get a dolphin. Would you give a dolphin to a person who has a presentation full of bullet sounds and dolphin clip art? If he wants to waste more time, he needs to find a way to present better.

Hes presenting it to his class, who cares what they think? Anyway, no no sound though. I laways hated sound. Unless it was like the rock music I used for my presentation on Grendel :mischievous:

Well, problem is, when I project it, sometimes the image doesn't even though up (When it's playing a video) so I might need a way around that.. (yes..:odd: very odd)

And I hate those sound effects.. seriously.. 'psssh' every two seconds isn't exactly going to keep my attention.

Thanks! Overload of facts.. Sounds good actually..:D Thanks Viper

Make sure the vid isn't divx format or something, try AVI. Oh and one thing I've noticed. When you are showing the presentation on a conputer other than the one it was composed on and are showing video, you need to re insert the video file so it will look for the video on the cd or computer that is doing the presenting.
