magic, simple solution to your AIM dilema. AOL offers a java client (means you don't install anything, runs over the internet). Go to the AOL website and look around for it. I also found the talk of win2k "security" amusing. Can we say IIS? Don't worry if you don't know what IIS is, just know that it prettymuch opened a door and advertised to hackers and the like to **** with your computer.
