Hi guys am looking for a good tune for the TTs in the dry Spa with the R390 where can y go need help tunning this car am currently 260s position but that was like my first 20 try with 2.27.XXX on DS3.

lets see. You say you finished in the ranking at 260. You want a tune.

How about you share your tune. I am sure there are many who would like to finish in the top 500. Me for one.

ok right now am like 329 ranking with this time 2:27:824
here is my tune

the R390 GT1 road Car is fully tune

max power 493 hp
weight 1062 kg
PP 623
downforce 35/80 max
trams chage onlt the top speed from 155 default to 180
LSD initial torque 5 acceleration Sensitivity 5 Braking Sensitivity 5 so... LSD 5/5/5
Suspension
ride height 15/15
Spring rate 20/19
Dampers Ext 10/8
Dampers Comp 10/8
Anti-Roll Bars 5/6
camber 1/0.5
toe angle 0/0.20
Brake 10/10

note i use 2nd turbo Mid RPM range turbo kit because develope more torque for the car

AIDS
TC 1 and ABS 1
hope goes well for you

I make 2:29:0-- with Joystick , I see a detail on this car.
Install the Engine Stages and the Turbo Kit 3 , and ajust the PP to 500.
With this u get more Torque\ft-lb\nm.
This car need a wing to. , Put all Up.
Just now I dnt remember my Tune ajust for the other parts.

All aids off , only ABS 1.

Regards!

I'll try and post my tune later today or tomorrow. I gave it a spin last night and got into the top 100 (95?). Other than the spring rates, my other settings are close to yours but my suspension is much softer and my brakes were 4/2 I believe. I only used ABS as well, no TC.

One helpful tip is, since you are using the power limiter to a big degree, upshifting early on corner exit helps to control wheelspin and benefits overall control and lap times. If you aren't using the power limiter but are sticking to the natural torque/power curve of the engine, shifting early helps keep the car in the peak power/torque range and also benefits lap times with this car.

yes put the wing so you can get the downforce 35/80

thanks i upshifting early on every 2nd to 3rd gear
i will try your brake 4/2 let see...👍

Sorry, forgot all about this.

Best advice is to download the leaders replay and copy that driving style. Means shift early and avoid the lower gears except in helping rotate the car. In other words, you drop to second for example and get the car to come around, but immediately up to third and fourth. This helps keep the power down (less wheelspin) but also the torque on this thing is down low and with the big power limiter, the HP is maxed over a huge range. Limiting wheelspin but being on the power is the key, not cornering speed.

Hit reset on Transmission
TS 200 km/h
FGR 2.117
1 -3.869
2- 2.837
3- 2.229
4- 1.83
5- 1.557
6- 1.355

High Speed Turbo, Engine Limiter 68.3% (engine tuning 3 on the car already)
LSD 5/5/5
Ride -20/-20
Springs 10.5/10.0
Front susp 4/3/5
Rear Susp 2/1/1
Camber 1.2/1.0
Toe -.10/+.40
Brakes 4/2<< not a big believer in high brake settings. Don't think it makes much difference in stopping distance and tends to unbalance the car. I ran 1/0 in the FGT Time Trial and finished top 200. Typically I run 4/2 or 4/3 or 3/1 or 3/2 when racing online. Helps preserve tires too.

Good luck, let me know if it works for you.

i let you know as soon as i try it thanks

really like the tune:tup: Am running 1sec faster and still can improve more what surprise me more of this tune there is almost nothing of (wheelspin).

I would like to know how you did it. i was thinking that tuning LSD eliminated (wheelspin) but you work more tuning the TRAMS and i dont know what else.

right now i feel that i dont have a clue about tuning.......
jhonny i apreciate your help thanks

Glad it could help pilot. I do 99.9% of my tuning online with tire wear and it's completely different from these time trials and anything offline. For a TT I start with what I would normally do online and then go from there. With this car, everything I did with the LSD just seemed to make it worse and 5/5/5 seemed to work. This is the only car I've ever set up with that low of an LSD.

I used your tune as well. It helped me move up 20,000 spots or more. It seems to fall flat in second gear around 6,000 rpms. Do you know how to get rid of this slight delay? Also, How long do you spend tuning a car?

Tuning a car or this car? Since the 390 seems to be the best for many of the "street car" Seasonals, I use basically the same tune for it for all the seasonals/time trials. I spent probably an hour tuning it originally and only minor tweaks here and there. I usually only put one, one half to one hour session into each Time Trial, as it gets boring pretty quickly. If I drop out of the top 200 sometimes I'll make a second attempt but not very often.

Other cars I've tuned over and over as I learn more and more about tuning. After having the game for a year I'm finally getting into driving the Nurb and starting to tune some of my favourite cars for that track adding it as setting "C". So long as there are challenges left in the game, I'll keep tuning...lol.

What am I doing wrong driving the R390 at Spa for this time trial? I can't seem to break past my 2:28s lap time.

I'm using Johnnypenso's setup, but I can't keep it from understeering into oblivion. I've got several ghost car replays at my disposal and I just can't hang with them in the turns. If I speed up, it just pushes, if I go slow, the ghost car quickly disappears.

I've got a Driving Force GT steering wheel and I'm using maximum force feedback. I also use max sensitivity (7).

What am I doing wrong??? Please help me, I'd like to break into the top 1000 racers before it closes tonight.
