(when done properly)I totally agree, its just fun to chill with everyone and have some nice drifting, every time im on it i try to take pictures of everycar at least twice but is very difficult since theres so many people, either way i enjoy watching the replay from everyones different point of view and see what happened on the track
@86 Great photos of FormulaD, unfortunetly i missed it to get my hand screwed up so i couldnt drift on GT5 and suffer while driving in real life aparently ._. ...
Im glad you all liked the pictures!!... I really had lots of fun in that last NightSlide unfortunetly my week off is over so who knows when ill be back in one of this lobbies

Tonight's Night Slide turned out awesome, as usual. It was a good turn out with lots of teams represented! Glad you guys were able to join in. Can't wait to see some great pictures soon

Passed out with the controller in my hand while taking photos last night lol. I woke up when it finally slipped out and hit the floor haha. Still have one more replay to look at. Hopefully I'll be able to finish shooting this evening, and get the shots up today or tomorrow.

I thought I would mention, if you guys feel like mixing it up a little when it comes to track selection, I have am Eifel track that would be hella fun use. It's very easy to learn, is extremely wide (so, forgiving), has several opportunities for getting really big angle on entry...and it even has a jump at the end!
Gunz, do you remember that track? I first came across it while in an open lobby with you a few months ago.
Anyways, if you're interested, let me know and I'll make sure to put it in my shared tracks.

Ya I think we're talking about the same track. One of the last corners is a decreasing radius right hander that goes over a fairly big drop. If you hit the "outside to inside" line with good speed, you launch off the drop mid drift, right near the apex. If you hit it fast enough and at the correct angle, you can actually clear the grass on the inside of the corner.
That day in the lobby, we sat at that corner for a long time just watching people launch...good times

I'm open to trying new tracks... We don't do many custom tracks because it seems to scare people away (the whole "unknown" factor)... But we have been doing more custom tracks lately in our private sessions!

Ya for sure, I've always got my eye out for new custom tracks.
I totally understand the "unknown" factor...I'm one of those who is not very good at drifting tracks I don't know. But the Eifel track I have is really easy to learn...it only takes a couple of laps to figure out the line, and cause it's so wide, it's tough to make a mistake. It's basically a continuous left right left right, one S curve after another.

The action at A-Ring Mini was intense....but thanks to GT5's wonderful smoke modeling, taking good pictures was nearly impossible. I don't think I've been more frustrated while taking pics....so many great shots were ruined cause all the cars looked like Lego cars haha.
The field got much smaller for the GVS replay, but there was still some great drifting
So on a night filled with people driving Chasers, Soarers, Aristos, various Lexuses (wtf is the plural of Lexus?...Lexi?), and of course monster 700hp Supras...who was the fastest???

And this one is for CJ. "OMG, I'm tandeming behind a 🤬 pick-up truck!!!"....we won't talk about what happened next
