Sorry I had to leave so early last night...I was falling asleep while tryin I drift lol. Can't wait for the chaos that is Aug to be over. I'm so rusty right now...need to get back in the groove.

I think I should be able to make tonight's night slide but I'm a bit hesitant because I haven't been driving like I'm used to lately & make a fool of myself while I'm on track. it sucks not playing from my usual station & frustrating that I can't tandem like I normally do w/ you guys. I'll try to make some adjustments and see if I can keep consistency.

C'mon bud, dont be too hard on yourself. You know its all about good times and just spending a couple sessions with your best buds. 😉see you all there tonight (as long as i dont have a crappy connection).
 
I know how you feel E. I haven't been able to play much in the last month, so I feel super rusty when I get out on track with the boys. But don't be so hard on yourself bro...you'll still be driftin circles around the vast majority of people :sly:

edit: I have been looking back into this thread and seeing all of the awesome pics E used to take, and the hype he would build for this meet. Sorry if my coverage has been sub par guys i am just trying to get some decent coverage for this event, I don't have a lot of spare time to edit pictures and my photo mode skills are not the best.

don't cut yourself short my man. the photos you take are great. it makes me want to drive good so I can get in some of those sick tandem shots. believe me, if anyone knows how much time it takes to get the right angle for coverage it would be me... so keep up the good work CJ.

Thanks E it is nice to be contributing to the team through the night slide thread, most of my photo's have not been edited. If i do edit them i try not to spend to much time and use simple things to slightly improve the image. Mainly because i am all over the place and not able to sit down and work on the photos.

Lol...another great Night Slide guys. Wish I could have stayed until the end, but had to get up early today.

Awesome coverage again CJ!! Like E said, I too know how much time and effort it takes to take lots of photos of as many different drivers as you can. You've been doing a great job! Thanks for stepping up and taking all the photos...cause like E said, they really do help amp people up (myself included) for the NS.

He said something like it is unrealistic for 20 people to drift in a race or something, so i pointed out how he was drifting a delorean so he left.

It was a fun time, I was getting really tired and I was starting to suck pretty badly towards the end there

That was definitely the quote of the night! I was laughing so hard when dude posted that message I had to break my drift to avoid wiping people out.

It is always fun to see who the true noobs are with messages like that! LOL! Good times... 👍

Thanks for showing up Sleepa! Actually it was a guy asking for sports mediums. We usually kick anyone who asks to change tire restrictions but we were being nice last night. From now on, we are going to kick people to make room for the real drifters!!

Our "Night Slide" event does attract a lot of the best drifters so it can be disheartening for those that are not really experienced. However, I hope it was a good experience for you and helped you realize what you can shoot for with more practice!!

We hope to see you again soon Sleepa!!
 
Yeah man, switching from DS3 to a wheel is like starting from scratch again, I'm so impatient, I just want to tandeming door to door again.

The politeness, lack of ego and general welcoming attitude your team puts forth is very refreshing, I hope it catches on to other teams.
