Of course if you own a mecca, then you are a prefered client of the insurance company, pay less and are also in a different class. The fact that actual driving time in the maclaren will be quite low, the insurance wouldn't be astronomical for liability and collision, what would be expensive is the theft/fire.
I assume in a case like this, that they would investigate the security of the location that the car is being stored at. A lot of people I know that own expensive cars store them at a facility when they are not in use.
