A big plus for b spec on cote d'azur is that running my bob on it is as engaging as a spec. Sat thru the race busy pressing pace up and down. Though my car crashes almost every lap and was dead last by many seconds at lap 6, it managed to pull through for the win on the last lap in a bashed up mclaren f1

I was going to say that this was probably the first thrilling B-Spec event I've ever attended. I only crashed twice throughout the race in my 2J, but it was really fun and I might even try it again later on.

Had to post this from the meme thread.

This is soooooooo true. I spent at least 4 hours of attempts on this event. I couldnt believe the amount of times my driver would be in first then pow right into the wall. :ouch: Finally successful with the Escudo in the 650 event. 👍

I find I win Monaco pretty easy with a 33 bob and the 2J. It seems to handle the corners fine as long as I'm pacing down a lot. I just time it so that when I pace back up ther aren't any upcoming bad corners.

My lvl 39 Bob won the 650pp with the 2J with the exact same tune used for TT 34 at the Ring. He hit the wall once after the tunnel but did a great come back to win the race.

I have tried many different cars for this 650pp event, and every god damn time, it is into the wall. I thought, hey lets save up some cash and buy this BMW McLaren most people suggest using. (let me remind you that I just got a ps3 not long ago, and my time playing GT5 has been less than 10 hours) I save up about 2.5 mil and go see if I can buy said car.... boy, I am glad there are no car salesmen in this game or they would have laughed my ass right out of the door =/

Finished the 650PP event with my lvl 36 driver and the Furai on first try. Hit the wall 2 times but still made it.
For the other events I used a tuned Evora and a tuned Gen1 Corvette :)

GT5 is not a "pick up and play." Especially with B-spec, it takes time to build up levels and "know-how." The driver needs to be a high level for all 650PP events. Secondly, the B-spec driver needs an appropriate tune, an appropriate car, and proper coaching. All of which only come with time. Most do not have the patience for B-spec so they discount it's value. I hope you'll give it the patience it requires to win. If you'd like any pointers I'd be glad to help.

LMAO @ car salesman!

I must have been lucky. My'down', but very experienced Bob (I only have 2, so he's done a good few miles. I'm almost level 39 B Sec & most of it was with him.) breezed through these. At Monaco he hit the barrier for the 1st 3 laps & then got it waxed. Needed minmal bollocking from me...

I can't win this!! Can someone please post a complete tune for a car that can win, I have ford lm test car, Pagani Zonda R and lamborghini aventador... None of them worked, I'm going crazy over that annoying broken AI!

hey buddy just try the Furai (the tune I found in this thread). Just make sure that you tell him to pace down as you are entering in the straight, and before the last turn before the finish line. Rest of the time, just keep talking to him, having him maintain pace. You'll probably grab the lead on the second to last lap. good luck
