New Car Dealers in GT5

I think they should have real dealerships that you can walk into with your Home avatar. The new cars would be in the show room and one area of the dealership and the use cars will be in another part of the dealership. They should have Jay Leno and Jeremy Clarkson as salesmen to at these dealerships telling you all about the cars and hassling you to buy the cars. When you don't buy the car then they'll give you an attitude for wasting their time. I hate car salesmen!

I'm fairly certain we'll see most of the cars you have been hoping for. Maserati should be in it, cause the other Fiat SPA brands: Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Ferrari are all in the game, so why not Maserati? Porsche is merging with VW, so the addition of Porsche seems promising. As with Bentley, PD already has the liscense to use the brand, so I don't see why there isn't more Bentley models. I'd like to see more American tuners.

I'm hoping we will get Noble.

There was a deal between Top Gear and GT5/PD in the early days of development, so i'm guessing they looked at the cars shown on Top Gear in the past and prioritised them.

As in the past, PD have introduced concept cars for many manufacturers. I hope they introduce the Noble M600:

Thats what i'm hoping for anyway. I also want an Ariel Atom. Theres no guarantee they will introduce any new manufacturers other than the main 3 mentioned.

Unfortunatley, i read in the news on this site, about the visit to PD studios, that Kaz mentioned GTPSP cars use the same models as GT5 cars. So more than likely, we will see 95-99% of the cars in GTPSP in GT5. (I was under the assumption they recycled the models from GT4 for the PSP version, hence the large proportion of GT4 cars in GTPSP. But it is not the case :()

McLaren, Porsche, Maserati, SSC, Koenigsegg and the game would be perfect in regard to manufacturers.

Wow...you pretty much nailed it on the coffin. If they had all the mclaren models, meaning the road car, road car LM, short tail gtr, and the one they already have, it would be a wrap!

Oh yeah and they should include the noble m600. I never heard of it until now but after seeing the post on it... I did some
research and it would be a pleasure to drive haha.

Hopefully polyphony is listening....they are only a few manufacturers away from providing an all around experience....meaning cars from all regions....not just tons of skylines and Nsx...though I
must say the r35 v spec is so so nice :)

As a swede i would like both SAAB, Volvo and Koenigsegg to be in the game. And more old crappy models of volvo like 242 Turbo, 760GLT, 850 T5 R and for saab a must is the 92 two stroke, 99 ems/turbo and the first 900 turbo :)

we have wish list threads allready. this ones about how you think PD will distribute cars in game. Please read OP because I think it brings up an interesting premmis.

thanks

As far as new car dealerships in Gran Turismo 5, I just want to see Koenigsegg and more Lamborghini's.

I'll also be happy if rain is finally included. :sly:

I'm thinking it will be GT4 style, a New car garage for the newest models (Specific to manufacturers), a used car garage (Changes dynamically like in GT4, seperate from manufacturers) and legendary/classic car showroom, maybe more of a motoring museum style, one for each region. This way it would be closer to real life. Also, new car dealerships often have cars in stock that are 5-10 years old which still have not been sold, so i wouldn't be surprised if you saw an Evo VIII or an early R34 Skyline in the new car dealerships.

I hope not, now the R34 Skyline GTR has been replaced with the R35 and the Evo VIII has been replaced with the Evos IX & X I don't think we will see those cars in new dealerships anymore.

Perhaps, each car dealer will have a new and used showroom?

So if you wanted a R34 GT-R V-Spec II, you'd look in the used showroom, obviously pay a discounted price from when the car was new based on the age, amount of miles and perhaps the level of damage the car has? Then if you wanted a brand new R35 GT-R V-Spec, the you'd look in the new showroom, but a car with no miles on the clock, ready to race...

I was sort of thinking (long shot) of a couple types of used dealerships. You could have the certified used cars from each manufacturer (like real life and in GT2), these cars would be fairly low miles in standard clean condition but for a high used price. Then you could have a couple big general used dealerships that is a mixed bag of models, miles, condition and parts (non factory parts and paint), these cars would be generally cheaper but you could get a bomb or a bargin beast of a car, you look out for good deals.

Like I said, long shot.

Long shot, but I could see it. I would be all for it. I would love to track all those statistics, including, number of accidents, if any. Almost a CarFAX report, showing all OEM details, paint, etc.

And then have a nice showroom to put them in...like the Ferrari garage in Ferris Buehler's day off.
