:yuck:

I saw it in the Driving Magazine with the Sunday Times, so it must be coming out soon :indiff:

It's out now - I've seen one at a dealership already.

@ Evan - He didn't WANT the wagon, we had no choice but to test drive one because there were no saloons available. There was a saloon there when we turned up, so we never got to test drive one.

Edit:

As great an idea that would be, Dodge has already done it with the Magnum. And I like the Magnum front end more than the 300C.

Oh sorry, it was just reviewed in The Driving section of my newspaper, maybe its coming out in England

Why are they making a 300C wagon? Where's the point in that? What they should do is finally release the Coupe 300C they promised years back instead of making a Magnum with different body panels, Although I have to admit, it does look better than the Magnum. 👍

It'll problably sell aswell as the Magnum too.

Last I had herd, there will not be a 300 wagon for the American markets as the Magnum allready fills that position.

But, if you really (and I mean really, really) want a 300C wagon, NOW, you could go out and buy yourself a Magnum R/T and throw the 300C front end conversion on it. You would have a car that handels better and has a greater capability overall, so yeah, good idea then...

Oh sorry, I completely forgot it was only sold in Europe :D . I wouldn't have thought the Chrysler version would handle better. If anything it would be a little softer since it's more luxury-oriented than the Magnum.

Coupe? as in, they could've built the Charger with Two Doors?

X()

oh, BTW, I'm pretty sure they've lways sord the Magnum abroad with a Chrysler front end.

As far as I know, the only thing Chrysler has to do with the Magnum's front end is producing it.

300C Wagon = Dressed-up Magnum.

Yes, the Chrysler version would be a little more soft than that of the Dodge, but Dodge has said (and proven) that the Magnum and Charger both outhandle the 300, barely.

There was talk that when the first of the LX cars debuted, there were going to be coupe versions of both the Charger and the 300 about right now, but it never came through because Chrysler felt the LX platform was too large to work with two doors.

Thus, the LY platform (the successor to the LX, still tied to the previous-generation E-Class) gives us not only a new Charger/Magnum and 300, but also the Challenger 2-door as well.

These are new here? Wow! I saw one today, and thought it looked very... rugged. I thought it was a 300, but I don't know the difference so it could have been one of the others...

I believe the 300C Wagon was first out in the rest of Europe. I remember seeing several two years ago - it's hard to not see them even with blinders on. Most of them have the V6 diesels, though.

I like it.

It's in my top 3 best looking estates (behind the Laguna and E Class)

Thank god....Cause the next thing you know, they'll have made a Magnum 4-door sedan which totally defeats the purpose.

Dodge doesn't sell much of anything in Europe. Chrylser does. Chrysler Neon, Chrysler Viper - er - SRT-10, but there is the Dodge Ram...SRT-10. :)

This is Chrylser's way of getting a Magnum to Europe, I suppose. Perhaps it adds an air of higher quality to it. The 300C is doing rather well for a large American sedan. Funny, I was just glancing at this month's Top Gear (I think the US gets it 45 days after England does), and it had a review of the Chrysler 300C Touring. The text mentioned the V6, but all the pictures were a 300C Touring SRT-8. It was definitely a Chrysler, definitely a wagon/estate, and definitely said SRT-8 on the back. Nice for jolly old England, eh? 👍
