I've got a cool PLA cap which came from a secret air force base. I can't find it now, but I'll have a look for it tomorrow and post it. I use it for fishing mainly.

I have just two currently:

New hat. Still working on bending it as you can see.

My favorite team. Hated the standard hat, love this alternate(Yankee-envy?). My next hat will be the Red Sox(with the "B"). My 3rd team.

Not really a collection. I only buy them for daily wear!

Massive trend over here in the UK though among all the young guys, not sure if it's the same in the US. And as for bending the bill, suppose it depends on how you wear it; I wear mine with the bill high, would look stupid if I'd bent it 👍

Doesn't bother me at all, it's only a sticker. And it beats everybody who sees me asking 'Why the 🤬 did you take the sticker off?'

Curious, do people leave them on in the US aswell or is this just a British thing?

Ah, I see. The majority of people in the UK wear New Era as a fashion statement and want people to know they're authentic which is probably why they leave the stickers on. 99% of the people I know bought their hats because they 'looked cool', not because it's their team.

But I won't buy anymore hats for now after getting my Toronto one, because they're my teams, I'm not gonna buy a hat of a team that I don't even support.

I knew this was coming.

I'm not going to pretend to know how it is in other cities, but around here, very few leave the sticker(s) on(all teens to very early 20's). They are shiny, I understand.

And for the record, My Cardinals hat looks very bent, because it's still new, and in process. I have usually have them just slightly curved like these guys:

Anyway, the reason people wear straight-brimmed hats with the stickers still on it is so they can be ghetto and cheap as hell, wear something, and then have their moms return it to the store for them. It only became fashionable among the kind of people you'd call chavs over there.

Be a trend-setter and a good American ball fan-- remove the stickers and bend your brim.

And root for someone else besides the Jets. Being a Jets fan is not healthy. Even New Yorkers have the good sense to root for the Giants.

P.S. There is no way that ship captain hat will fit on your head.

Not at all man New Era must make an absolute killing in the UK now; I know guys that have bought about 5 different team hats in one go.

I didn't even know Ichiro wore a different cap. I was not a Seattle fan, but I can be a total fair weather fan when it comes to baseball. I did buy a Seattle hat in 2001 for Ichiro, but don't have it anymore.

Edit: I got a controversy, too. I sometimes wear my hat backwards. It is not OK with many people I know!

Funny how stupid "fashion" is though. I remember when you got made fun of for wearing a hat the proper way. Then people sort of compromised and we had this for a while.
