Hi everyone. I recently created this new group. FPRC is all about using your library of cars with no modifications and putting them on the track! Over the last few weeks, I've been racing using unmodified cars online and the races have been a real success! The races are very exciting and so close at times. I've really learned to appreciate the time that PD has put into this game to bring us the collection of cars GT5 offers. I admire how each vehicles handling characteristics vary from car to car. That is something that is easily overlooked after modifying a car's suspension and other components. If you are a casual or a serious driver, look no further than FPRC for a good race!

Rules:
  • Damage is set to Weak
  • All Aids are off with the exception of ABS
  • PP or hp/weight restricions can vary from race to race
  • Tire restrictions will vary aswell. Race tires only go on race cars. DUH!
  • Clean Racing ONLY! GTP rules apply.
  • Tire Wear and Fuel Consumption On.
  • Mics Preferred but not required.

Restrictions:
You will be able to use any tuned car as long as you haven't installed:
*Engine upgrade
*Weight Reduction
*Aero Kits will need to be removed before joining the lobby.

The goal is to recruit enough new members to start weekly race nights and host some race series.

Please visit the Factory Performance Racing Club page to join!

I couldn't agree more!

Love how you can actually feel a clear difference between the range of cars on offer! I'm guilty of too much tuning at times, problem is, it can make all your cars feel the same to drive!

So I've been buying second cars to leave them mechanically 'factory' and now that the wheel change option has returned for standard cars this has me looking at those more than ever!

My favourite unmodified standard at the moment has to be the Lancer Evo II, just love it!

I like the sound of your potential group, but with my own series I run and the fact the time difference between our countries is a bit of pig, I don't think I'd have the time/opportunity to join in now and then, but I do like your idea.

I know some people wouldn't think of using standard models, but there are some nice cars in there, even if they aren't new, and thats the prob, as our UCD's randomly generate, not everyone may have the same car if you plan on running spec races, especially unmodified cars as its not like you can just buy the car whenever

Is anything allowed in the other tuning areas: intake, exhaust, turbo, drive train, tranny, suspension? I'm asking this because when I was in your room last weekend, I had to uninstall the LSD to be able to use the car I selected.

Paizac pretty much all the mods must be uninstalled. No mods. The only adjustments allowed are Weight Ballasts and Engine Power Reduction. The easiest way to detune a car is to switch the Profile from "A" to a unused setting.

Race lobby will be up tonight! Check the Club page and click on the Weeknight Events thread for the room info. Lots of fun guys!

One of our members took the initiative to create a Championship series, check it out in the club page aswell or click here. Need more members! 14 and counting!
