New Ford GT coming to Vision GT?

I saw one of these 'Spiders' at Silverstone Classic in the summer, it was in a nasty almost fluoro matte yellow.

Nah I think Ford just went to Forza and that's about it. They didn't choose GT for reasons nobody knows, so no need to make excuses like some people usually does.

................Heh, looks like rampant speculation has taken over the thread - even I'm guilty of it, of course.
Good thing the Ford VGT looks like a some sort of Caparo T1/Indigo concept mashup rather than the new GT.
As for Turn 10 getting the leg up on the car itself - hmm Ford must've had a "productive" discussion with folks at T10. I mean, being a cover car might be a big deal, I'd think. And GT6 featured a Chevy C7 on the cover so....The Big Three rivalry? Now that would be fun to read about....

For all we know, this car may well be coming to GT7, the difference being, T10 has announced it as being in Forza6 and PD is yet to announce anything about GT7. At this point everything is pure speculation.

GT6 might in a struck of divine luck receive another GT-R, M4 or FT-1 (different dials). New Ford GT strikes me as something not in the realm of GT6 free offerings.

I don't know it's just...hmm...how to call it - actually interesting ?

Possible, but I think it's unlikely. From the looks of it, the Ford VGT will be something of a modern take on the Indigo. And not only did that never reach production, it was never meant to do so.
