New Insurance Law Could Threaten Motorsports in Europe

I hope that this is just a clickbait article, because it would be awful for there to be no racing whatsoever in Europe. Imagine a world with no Grand Prix of Monaco, no racing at Le Mans, Silverstone, or Nurburgring.

And superwally, I had no idea that the war on motorsport ran that deep. I wonder who all hates motor sports that bad to want to outlaw it in Europe and America, for that matter.
 
I could definitely live with that. This could mean, more time available and tracks for tracks days. :D
Much more interesting to drive on a race track rather than watching boring F1 races. >>> again :D

Land developers who want to use all that "wasted" real estate that racetracks sit on to build cheap housing developments. There's already infrastructure in place to handle increased traffic and they're generally way out away from urban areas, which appeals to all the retiring baby boomers.
