Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but still got my training wheels on when it comes to this type of stuff. i have been playing GT6 since Christmas and while some people are great to race online with, there are lots of idiots that hang around in cyber space.
I am looking for a group to join that doesn't use any driving aids (traction control, ABS etc) maybe the same type of car (to keep things close). Just a average driver, so I don't want to join a group that I will get in the way with or do I want to join a group that will push you off the track all the time.
Can someone point me in the right direction.
thx T-rev....

You are welcome to join our group, which is a wide ability group (includes novices and experts) and we do have friends from New Zealand, but sadly because of the time difference they are not normally able to race with us. We race every Sunday at 17:00 BST.

If you send me an FR - great if you can race with us, but if not I should be able to pass on your details to some friends in New Zealand.

For a spec-type league, I suggest S.N.A.I.L..

It's the best out there, GT Academy champion Nick McMillen is in it, why not you? Spots are always open!

The link is in my siggy.

Hi thanks for that. Sorry about the late reply, but my brake pedal broke so just go around to fixing it last night. Had a quick look at the cars you race and not my thing. I like the XR8, Rocket, or the high power Jappa'a. Not into the classic side of things. thanks anyway.

Right at the bottom of my posts.
OK thanks, found it. sorry, but not my type of cars (NASCAR<karts etc). Who races on here that uses no driver aids (ABS, traction control etc), Prefer 1 make of car or limit the max BHP or PP you can use. Can I start up my own series and see if anyone wants to race my format?.

That is how we race in S.N.A.I.L., spec racing. I don't know where you get NASCAR from, there isn't a NASCAR series within S.N.A.I.L..

Yea you right there is no NASCAR in your series (must of been something else I was looking at). Sorry about that. You guys still use ABS and cars I don't drive. plus i have no idea how to join a group, so I was thinking I would just start my own. is that possible?.

There are no aids, but ABS is purely optional.

It's not just, the spec racing, there are events going on throughout the week! Karts, drivetrain challenge (you get to pick you own cars), and endurance racing (again, it's spec, but there have been WEC and USCC races, with LMP and GT cars on the same track).

If you want to join it, just make a post in that thread saying you want to join, and you will be given instructions on what to do next, it really is that simple.
