Will the new Nissan conform to the shape under the cover?

I love all this speculation on how it's gonna be a Skyline...even though Nissan haven't raced a Skyline since the R34's run ended. Who cars if it's their Vision GT car or whatever, it's looks interesting for sure.

I'm frankly pretty amazed how fast PD went into gear with all this cool new stuff since the Senna content got released!

Seriously... Y'all are taking this waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too far...

This is like making a blind man determine what color a leaf is..

sheesh... Three times enough? @MrYasser
Close...

nissan isnt showing the LM car until 2015. they made that clear in the press conference a few days ago. Even if it was they are racing under the prototype category and the car will look more like whats under the black sheet ( R18 ect) than what is under the red cover which is a GT looking car.

Its not the R36 as that wont be shown until after the LM debut and not until November of 2015 at the earliest

Its not a generic placeholder as that grill and face under the cover is part of Nissan's new concept design language ( like the FRIEND-ME posted earlier and even the new maxima concept)

like this see the drop down grill and the V shape leading out to the headlights is the same language you see under the cover. except since the car under the cover isnt a "real" car it will probably have a thin LED stips in those slanted openings for lights

Looking at Nissan's current design language, that sort of shape would become a badge/grille of some kind. Definitely significant in the design, at least.

Who said the cover over the car is actually a true silhouette?

because the front is in the general form of what is known to be a current design theme from them

and the other Vision GT companies have put out teasers that show either partial angles or sketches of their cars. Why wouldnt it be the silhouette

So given that it is the actual silhouette....Its 100% not the R36 and its not the LM car and based off the roof line and wide stance its not a current feasible production road car so I cant see it not being some sort of Vision GT Design concept that might hint at future cars
