New Remote Races are up!

What's the course with the big circle in it? I noticed the other day, if you look very closely, you can see what I assume is Mt. Fuji through the distance fog. It's pretty much one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a game. đź‘Ť

Is the widget still working with the new set of races?
Yes, the widget still works. Be sure to grab the latest version posted in the automated remote races thread. (latest version at the time of this posting is 1.1.3)

It seems like the payout is a bit higher, however, it could simply be the result of having only 20 minute races now as opposed to the previous 5, 10, and 20 minute races. The longer races pay a bit more, so perhaps that is why we are seeing higher returns now?

I've made about a $750K since this morninig. (about 6 hours total)

This is more than I made the day before in the same amount of time, although I was using the widget to run only the 5 minute races.

I'm sticking with the Nascar races - my main bob is L40 and he always manages to get to the front. Apologies to everyone else taking part in my races!

It is nice to see some different remote races, as the first ones were a bit dull IMO. I never understand why PD don't give us options.

Why not have some 10, 20, 30 and 60 minute races with a wide selection of cars???

i wouldn't want my bobs tied up for an hour at a time. 20 minutes is fine with me for a "long" race.

I could see a "2 bob 1 hr enduro" with those with bobs set to "endurance" being the only ones to participate, leaving other available for "shorter" 20-minute races.

I actually run the widget, and then sit down now and then when I take a break to watch one of the races. Sometimes waiting in anticipation to see what the widget starts next.

I would like to say I agree, but I cant...remote races dont work for me since the upgrade, and the whole gt menu system is very slow. Not sure what, if anything I can do now, but I have noticed there only ever seems to be 2 guys from my friends list that run races, despite me running races for everyone on the list (well, before the upgrade anyway).

One of my Bobs finished first in the Ring race and made 15,220. Didn't start in first, can't remember where he started, but he had to pass at least 6 cars.

Can't say how much exp

Another Bob just finished second in the la Sarthe race and won 17,620...not sure where he started, but he was driving the C9

Guys, the credits are pretty good here. I think i've done about 3-4 races now, and already above 100,000+ credits.

Really? I did about 7hrs and 100k was the most any of my drivers made and they were all the top 5 positions. Winnings feel less than previous races as I could do about 220k per driver overnight.

Starting position has no impact on winnings.

I'm new to the remote racing....but is 20 minutes the longest race we can run? I was imagining it was like the lobby where we could pick races and lap counts etc.

Ouch. My top guy at level 38 got the Panoz Esperante on La Sarthe and finished dead last. His best lap was 4:12 and the best lap of the winner was 3:46

Yup every time my guy gets stuck with that car he always comes in last. What a terrible car! Lol

Indeed it doesn't, as i've just now realised after looking at recent payout topics here.

It depends on finishing position. I guess I had good luck with my drivers and got good positions.
