i got a relative who lives in MTl he got a cadillac CTS tuned

hes gonna buy a mazda rx-8 or a subaru sti WRX or the new lancer evo

and i believe you but they dont make any SVT in CANADA or in QUEBEC and im a bit confused

and for the sparxxx rx-7

im sure he took it in Ontario

theres tons and tons on sales


and dont try to mix french and english....i understand you but thats only because i speak both language but their is a lot of english ONLY playa so dont go and speak french lol!

Anyway. I love Mustangs. I plan on getting one once I can afford it too. Hopefully a Cobra (deffinatly can't afford a SVT though. My dream "fairly affordable" car would be a Cobra.). But if not, I can settle with a regular GT too. Doesn't the regular Cobra have 390 hp? I thought the SVT would have even more.

What are you talking about?

The Cobra is the same thing as the SVT Cobra. They both have 390Hp.

Unless Your talking about The Mustang Cobra R.

I hate mustangs too...I'm not saying I like the Cobra..but it's only a personal taste issue..It's a great car..390 RatedHP but it's really more in the 415 420 Range which is awesome...Too bad it doesn't have the handling aspects that the motor promotes...Seeing as how it only takes .9G's on the skidpad..And your average run of the mill Honda Civic Hatch does .89..But it's still a great car..Congrats man

A Cobra is a SVT Vehicle......IF you mean the Cobra R, then you'll have to buy a used mustang since they ended in what 2000 or 2001?..I think 2000, but anyway it would probably would be roughly the same price by now if you find one with some mileage..The Cobra R's got the same triton 5.4L v8 as in the lightning just no S/C
The Cobra R isn't nearly as Quick as the Cobra but the Cobra R will outhandle it any day simply because it was a purpose built track car(No a/c, no extra BS)...And why would you "settle for a GT"...Now that the Mach 1 is out the Gap between the GT and the Cobra is filled...Since a Mach 1 is pretty mucha GT with Cobra heads, and a finctional Hood scoop..Good deal with the Mach 1..But if you can get a Cobra..go for it

a Cobra R is actually quite faster than a regular Cobra. It has 385 horsepower, and is quite a bit lighter than a Cobra R because it is a race built vehicle. Oh yeah, Cobra R = NA. NA > Forced Induction.

Shob..the Cobra R has 385 HP at the crank which is a definate....The Cobra has 390 RATED hp..and remember it's SUPERCHARGED meaning almost instantaneous boosts...And the 390 is completly under rated, in actuality it makes somewhere between 410 and 420 HP...
The 00 Cobra R's 1/4 Time is roughly 13.4 Sec's...
the 02 Cobra's 1/4 time is roughly 12.3-12.6

And you know it's underrated for the 390HP..because that doesn't account for the 12 second quarter miles that it run's...
