I just realised that you probably didn't know that it was on Manual - it took me a while to figure out how to shift gears too.

I put mine on manual and thought I had the controls down, nope. The race started and I just sat there. So I hit every button until I figured it out. By then I was 20 seconds off. Overall its not too bad just a little getting use to.

Ha I know I hit up on R3 'cause I thought that accelerate , then I paniced when I saw a car coming at me from behind but it went through me. Eventually I figured everything out but I couldn't catch anyone .

Anyone down for racing here tonight?? Ive been cruising Spa in the dry with the DBR9 and I'm hooked... took a while to get use to it because I was racing alone for a while, which intern caused my skill level to drop to 0 due to the plethora of penalties I received for going off... So uuummm yeah... dont pay attention to my skill level... I got the hang of it now

Edit: G25 seems to have the same deadzone feel (is thats what they call it?) while on a straight line. Same feeling you get while driving the Evo X on GT5P. The wheel moves from left to right by the tinniest bit on the straights... anyone else have this?

Yup I noticed it too... What settings are you using?? I have steering and pedal sensitivity on high and FFB on High too... I did get that sensation in the beginning... but once you get use to it and learn to utilize it you dont notice it that much... The weight transfer while racing is also very evident, which gives a new feeling (for me that is).. more so than GT5...

Its funny how ur faster on wet... I did a 2'24.25 with the DBR9 on Spa. My best on dry is on the 30s.

Edit: spoke too soon. Just did a 2'15.87 on the dry. Everything off except for ABS at 2. Can probably go down to 2'10.XX with a perfect lap.

Also, wheel FFB feels very notchy. Managable though.

I'm not sure you guys can discuss the game openly ... if you want to do it I think you should register yourselves in the game dev's forum (eutechnyx) there's a private beta section there.

I don't think you guys need to worry since you are in an open beta, I don't think us in the closed beta have been released from the NDA so we aren't saying anything yet.
