I'm new to Forza and don't understand what's going on with earning credits. I won all of the races in the first world tour set but only got credits on 2 of them, same thing is going on with the second set of world tour races - sometimes I get the credit but most of the time I don't when I win. Does it have something to do with hitting or not hitting another car during the race or going off track during the race?

Thanks for your help.

There is a known glitch with the wheel. If I remember correctly it happens when you run a very clean lap and dont have a lot of steering input. I think I read that the game thinks you are cheating by being so smooth. I believe if you have the wheel set to 900 deg. it happens the most. I have mine set at 540 and I get no credits during the Top Gear rivals challenge because its so easy to be smooth. Ive only had no credits show up a few times in world tour mode. Maybe some others can shed more light on the issue, or correct me if I'm way off base.

I changed the wheel sensitivity to 540 and I've received credits in all of the races I've done (5 of them) since the change. Before the change I was maybe getting credits for 1 out of every 3 or 4 races.

This brings up another question relative to the Fanatec wheel - Does anyone have a good set of in-game settings (like deadzones) for use with the GT2 wheel? So far I've just left the default settings.

My recommended wheel settings are:
Sen 540
FF 80
Sho 70
Drift 002
ABS 100
Lin 100
Deadzone 0
Spr -2
dPr -3 (Contrary to what the manual says it does influence the handling on Xbox 360 mode)

Hope you like the settings.

Today I have done like 25 races in rivals mode and world tour and have been getting credits in all races.
Before today I almost never got credits in rivals and only when driving RWD cars in world tour when using my GT2.Has it been patched? Tested all my settings 900, 700, 540 and 250 SEN and all gave me credits now.

Amazing. You get punished by being a 'straight' driver. Getting a great time is ABOUT being a 'straight' driver.

It wasnt intentional. It was/is a bug with fanatec wheels.
I havent heard if its been patched or not, but i'm glad you are getting your credits.
